Alexander, I'm doing the "experiencing God" by Henry Blackaby bible study right now. Its not a light bible study either and speaks to your "where is he?" question among others. Truthfully, I think both you and I still have a veil pulled over our hearts and eyes that only God can remove. He has not removed mine yet. But doing this bible study is REALLY bringing me to a much better understanding of certain things that need to be done first in order to get to where God wants me to be. It's a very widely known bible study and a lot of people have had their lives changed while doing it. My pastor and his wife did it before they were in ministry, and it led them to make the choice of raising a church. So, couldn't hurt :D
