I am a pioneer missionary pastor; I have no congregation yet. I am depressed because of this.
I had a discussion with a close friend yesterday that is making me more depressed. The discussion was over an alleged demon casting done by him and an alleged vision or dream that he had of the Lord Jesus telling him that a thief was stealing his car's music system. It was he who initiated the conversations in the chatting app we use. He provided a photo of a blanket left by the alleged thief in his car when he and his brother-in-law went out to investigate. I asked him some questions and asked for more proof and more confirmation because I am far away from where he is. He implied in his answers that I am a Pharisee, a Sadducee, and that I am jealous of his ministry. I could not believe that a friend of 10 years or so would think this way about me. I told him that I praise God if these things really happened. I expected him to understand me and my questions, between friends. I cannot believe these accusations were made by someone I still think is my friend. I have been called worst by others before but this is really painful. I am deeply hurt. I forgive him for these false accusations because Jesus teaches me so. But I am really sad now. Please pray for me.

It seems when a believer starts after their calling, whatever it may be, the enemy will come with things to try and discourage us. If you are sure you are called by the Lord to lead a flock, then you need to ask the Lord for the Holy Spirit to bless you with His fruit, love, joy, peace, etc. 'There is no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus' Rom 8:1 so if you're doing the Lord's will you must operate as Jesus did. He was patient with sinners, except in His Father's house, because He was as a servant and was compassionate.
So seek the Lord and don't receive sadness, that kind is not from the Lord. God bless you & your family and your calling, IJN, Amen🙏

Hang in there. The one thing they forget to tell missionaries is just how much the evil one will resist them. You have ventured into enemy territory. The area has been mined and the trenches are deep. Satan doesn't give up territory easily.
Reread Ephesians 6:10 and following. Armor up. You have engaged the enemy. And he is yours. But the battles are costly.
You might also read the book of Joshua. It tells the stories of physical battles but is teaching about spiritual warfare.
I'll be praying for you.

Pioneering mission is a challenging work.
---
Focus on your calling, specific task..
- Do not be concerned/compare too much...with other people/mission.
- Different callings & tasks/assignments..

More of His guidance & comfort to you..

.-.-.-
Greetings my dear Brother in Christ.
¡Congratulations! .. ¿Congratulations?
Yes, you see, you now know something.
.-.-.-
A known Evangelist used to say to me ..with his arm around my shoulders ó handing me a handkerchief for my tears.. Congratulations, you now have the proof that you are no longer 'sheltered in the barracks', but are now in the open & available to be fired upon.
.-.-.-
Brother, you won't be shot at if you can't be seen.
And if you're not in The Will of God ..particular to that moment in time.. it's not worth the time & effort to 'shoot' at you.
So congratulations, you've received some important information meant to encourage you, not to depress you.
.-.-.-
Oh, it hurts ..it can hurt a lot.. a whole lot!
Mine began the day after I surrendered to The Call to Ministry.
I KNEW I had been Called ..I was told what I was to do.. others didn't agree & didn't hesitate to say so.
I wasn't going to battle with 'em .. I was going to stand upon what I KNEW!

Of the others who confessed a Call to Ministry, within 5yrs I was the only one moving in Ministry.
Dear Brother there's more to come ..So Long As.. you remain in the open & The Enemy (Spiritual Enemy .. not some flesh & blood human) says that you must be fired upon.
.-.-.-
And never once have I been under attackby anyone other than a Brother in Christ ó one who was religious but not Born Again.
Never from outside The Family.
I've received accolades from Hermanos en Cristo & from others ..even leaders.. in the world, but Brothers that have allowed themselves to be used to 'shoot arrows' (words from their mouths) have been many.
.-.-.-
Now...
As far as “...I have no congregation yet. I am depressed because of this.”
My dear Brother, I have been in The Ministry for many years & to this day I feel as if I have done very, very little, & I've shed a lot of tears because of this feeling.
But know & remember this... properly laid & secure foundations take time before a structure should be erected.
How much time?
As much time as The Holy Spirit deems necessary.
It's His Work ..not man's work.. it is by His Time not the 24hr time piece of man.
.-.-.-
It appears to me that you're out in the open & The Enemy sees one he needs to fire his arrows at.
Keep The Armor on & Be Alert!
.-.-.-
Praying for you!

If there's a way to PM each other ..ó e-mail.. maybe we can chat more.
Tu Hermano en Cristo,
Guillermo...
