How awesome would it be if people could access chat through a mobile app on i<Device> and Android Devices??? I'd be willing to help if any of the development admins wanna give it a try?!

I once made the site work on an old PDA, but it didn't work very well. I'm not sure whether I could type anything. The chat is flash-based, so all you need is something that supports Flash, I think. I installed Flash on my Android smartphone, but it still said that I needed Flash to chat. In my opinion, Flash is a buggy, unstable, security-hole-ridden piece of junk, but unfortunately, it's also ubiquitous. Maybe someone could make some sort of wrapper or small virtual machine for a half-decent Flash implementation on a mobile device.

I have been able to use the chat on my droid 2.
It is a little difficult because I cannot resize it, but it works.

If CC worked for my iPhone, I'd use it all the time! I've been stuck in places without a computer with nothing to do, so I think it would be a great idea.

if we pay for this chat we should be able to use it mobile
just saying

Actually this thread is 5 years old and the site has a mobile version that is free for all to use. Or you can use the full site on a phone as well.
The reason chat doesn't work is because it is Flash based, and phones/pads don't come with Flash, nor can it be installed, so it has nothing to do with payment. There are special browsers that have Flash for phones, but they are iffy in how well they will work.

There is an app now, as well, but it's somewhat shrouded in mystery as to how to obtain it or if it's still in beta or not.

The chat is tested and functional (by me anyway) in the Photon web browser for Android. Have not tried voice, but audio does not lag.
