We have never made a big tradition out of Easter. No baskets of candy, (diabetes, so not a moral choice), no traditional dinner, no holiday-specific plans.
But our grocery store has a special -- buy $X amount of groceries in six weeks and get a free ham/turkey/lasagna. It's the same promotion they have at Christmas, except I know what a traditional American Christmas meal is.
Well, we usually just get the fixin's to go along with the Christmas turkey and then take it all to our food bank. I could really use help figuring out what the traditional Easter meal is so I can buy that for the food bank.
So, what is the traditional American Easter meal -- fixin's included? (I do know I don't want to give ham, because too many people have high blood pressure and ham is salty.)
