I wish that were the truth, at least they would have a roof over their head and food to eat...
that doesn't mean you don't need shelter and an income, of course you do. But its what is in that shelter that counts etc. I have also refused promotions at some workplaces over the years as well, same reason, don't need the hassle.
Just watched the trailer. The dialogue seems witty, but didn't catch my interest.
Any other movie recommendations?
I do watch a comedy every now and again as a way to take a break from the intensity of historical and more current events' documentary style depictions of murder and mayhem. An unfortunate predicament with modern comedies is the amount of profanity and graphic sexual encounters that are often presented. From my perspective, it only goes to show how much has changed over the course of my lifetime. I also noticed many years ago when certain news' publications started printing profanity, as it was a clear departure from previously held standards.
I watched an old 50's movie with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, it looks like they still displayed morals in movies. You would think it was a made by Christians. You have any favorites from the 50's?

Daphne Du Maurier's Rebecca comes to mind right away, though it may be earlier than 50's. Yep, just looked it up; Rebecca is from 1940, and is rated @ 8.1; it's a Hitchcock 
The problem (for me) with some of the older movies is the over-emoting. Exaggeration to that degree works in comedy, perhaps, but not in all other genres, and gets to be too much, so much so, that my daughter cannot stand old movies. Haha. I may actually have seen more 40's movies as a kid... don't forget that back then, movies did not migrate to television as quickly as they do now. Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon, Lassie Come Home, Arsenic and Old Lace, Rope, Mildred Pierce, Key Largo, The Bells of St. Mary's, Philadelphia Story, The Lost Weekend, It's a Wonderful Life, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre... those are all from a 40's top 100 list, in the top 30. A similar list from the 50's? I recognize titles I know I never saw when I was younger. The Ten Commandments tops the 50's top 100 list

Hey, speaking of comedies, I watched Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga very recently. Will Ferrell has got to be one of the most ridiculous actors ever, and yet there is a certain irresistible charm in his absolute goofiness that has grown on me over time. He played it pretty straight in The Other Guys, which I found hilarious, as well as some of his others. Many years ago my daughter and I watched Blades of Glory. The ending was so over-the-top I could not stop laughing for quite some time, which made up for much of the rest of the movie heheee. And oh my goodness! I see he is an executive producer for Dead To Me, also. That is some awesome show. Anyways, Eurovision was funny, touching, sweet, and goofy, everything you would expect from Will. Pierce Brosnan plays his dad, and Rachel McAdams his love interest. Dan Stevens (of Downton Abbey fame) is likewise surprisingly hilarious as a flamboyant Russian singer. It is rated PG13, which, I have no idea what that means any more

Well, for sure no nudity, but there is still suggestive content, especially in the dance routines
Why they gotta do that? 
I just now looked it up: A PG-13 motion picture may go beyond the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, adult activities or other elements, but does not reach the restricted R category. Do you like horse movies?

Moana is good if you like disney movies and want to watch something G rated with children.

Its a true story. About how this cat named Bob saved a drug addict. Sadly Bob is no longer with us, he died last month. James his owner is fine though, he's clean (although probably still mourning right now)
Its kinda hard to recommend movies when not sure what you like to watch. Its kinda like recommending books, you just gotta say well I liked this and hope you enjoy it too, but depends on what your mood is.

this was based on a hugely popular childrens novel (not sure if its entirely based on a true story, but its reality based) about a boy with a facial deformity who enters middle school. He faces bullies and making friends who dont judge on appearances. and anything starring Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson in as his parents has got to be special.

this is based on a true story. Saroo gets lost on a train in India when hes five years old and somehow ends up being adopted and taken to Australia. He cant remember how to get back home, but twenty odd years later he finds his village on google maps. Nicole Kidman plays his adopted mum.
Dont know if theres much message to it though, but I would say its along the lines of 'give back what you stole'.
