Movies you never tire of viewing

Anyone have certain movies that you can watch a few times over and never get sick of them? What are they?
 
I have to say Blast From The Past with Brandon Fraser is definitely one I don't get sick of.
 
No way! I was actually thinking of creating this exact same thread the past two days. o_O Weird! :D

I never tire of seeing Saving Private Ryan. I also never tire of Nat'l Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I also love the original Karate Kid. There's probably a couple more but I can't think of them right now.
 
hmmm.. the movie Grease, old tv re-runs here on youtube of Quincy, M.E, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, and old episodes of General Hospital from when John Stamos played on there as Blackie Parrish. :) Also others too numerous to mention.
 
Classic tv shows never get old if they were well made. There are Ssome tv shows I don't watch anymore because they feel outdated etc.

Some of my evergreen movies are - Hitch, Iron Man series, LOTR series, Bourne series, Wall-E, Real Steel.. can't think of more.

I have seen 3 idiots and Dil Chahta Hai, of Aamir Khan. I haven't seen 'Every Child is Special' (in Hindi, it is called Taare Zameen Par). Aamir Khan is a fantastic actor. :)
 
I'm reminded of Minnie Pearl, talking about her Uncle Nabob. They found him in the movie house watching the same movie for a third time. He said there was this scene where some girls were going skinny-dipping in a water hole, and just as they start to get undressed a train comes by in front of the movie camera. He said he was watching the movie again because he just knew that sooner or later that train was gonna be late. :D

Movies are too short for me to watch over again... I know how it'll end after the first time I watch it. But there are some TV series I could watch over and over. Star Trek: The Next Generation is a good one. It's science-fiction, but there was always a good message in those shows.

Dredd (the new one with Karl Urban)
The Untouchables
Iron Sky
Tucker and Dale vs Evil
Starship Troopers
Blade Runner



These I don't think I could ever get tired of (if a few months passed between watching them)

Young Frankenstein
Blazing Saddles
Robocop
Robocop 2
U-571
GLADIATOR!!!!


If we're going with TV series, then I also have a few of them I could watch several times:
Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex
Star Trek Voyager
Farscape
Psycho Pass
MLP friendship is magic


And a few TV shows I don't know that I could ever get tired of:
Stargate SG-1
Star Trek TNG
Red Dwarf (so much yes)



I have a bit of an eclectic palate, though in general it's either going to have to be really funny, science fiction, or pretty violent. Any of those things can keep my attention, otherwise I usually get bored and find something else to watch/do. Also, sometimes I surrender my man card and watch well made childrens programming (half of the disney movies ever made any one)?

Who has time to watch things twice though?
 
mine are: a night with the king, prince of egypt, Disney princesses, cars, prince and me, the king and I, swan lake, barbie, how to train your dragon, princess diary, mulan 1 and 2, my sassy girl, windstruck, the classic, my little bride, fireproof, a walk to remember, pitch perfect, etc.
 
1. The Family Man (Nicolas Cage does a superb job, especially the last scene at the airport)
2. Meet Joe Black (Last scene, his last birthday party, and the music.. AND THE MUSIC..)
3. Serendipity (Perhaps there's still part of me wanting to believe in fate)
4. Love Affair (Annette Bening was simply stunning; along with Ennio Morricone's memorable melodies)
5. My Cousin Vinny (One of the funniest and Marisa Tomei's Academy Award winning performance)
6. Shallow Hal (I watched it three times in theatre - church, friend, and alone? Good sound tracks)
7. Spirited Away (probably watched 100 times with my nieces but it doesn't get old)
8. A Few Good Men (You Can't Handle the Truth! - gets me every time)
9. Ghost in the Shell (Japanese Anime at its best)
10. Taken (It's climbing up the chart - I will look for you, I will find you.. and I will kill you)
