Agreed?
I agree with this post, but I suspect neither one of us has reached the point where there's nothing more to learn.
Is there something that if we learned it that would somehow increase our stature IN. CHRIST. JESUS?
I don't know if increasing our stature in Jesus Christ is the object, or even what that means, but off the top of my head, yes.
No
What we began in is what we will end in
and no we can't increase our stature IN CHRIST
We were already made rich the moment we heard THE GOSPEL of our salvation and believed and were marked as belonging to GOD in CHRIST JESUS
What we began in is what we will end in:
from faith --------->to faith
from first---------->to last
And in fact, the last will be first and the first will be last
if we review the parable of the workers in HIS VINEYARD, notice that the worker who came in at the last hour is first and receives exactly the same as what the one who entered into the early hour and heat of the day was promised
you can't add to your stature in CHRIST JESUS
Either IN Or outside THE DOOR

Why because if you did not begin in CHRIST JESUS understanding that HE died so that what was dead (we were all dead in our sins and separated from GOD) might be made alive to GOD in CHRIST than no amount of work to wash and sanctify oneself apart from the ONE who washes and makes clean before GOD will work
be careful that what you began in remains in you
if what you began in remains in you, you too will remain in both the father and the son
and this is what HE promised us
even eternal life
1 John 2
I think you should have let this go when I said I agreed with what you said, but that surely we both have more to learn. We both have to be humble enough to understand that.
There's nothing more that I need to know sir
I have chosen THE BETTER PART
And HE is sufficient
When I agree with something you say, and you argue with me anyway, I have to wonder what is motivating you.
Because you ask more and more as if what we have already received is not sufficient
and I want to be clear to s who may be listening that CHRIST alone is sufficient
Romans 10 is sufficient
and everything else but CHRIST is everything else but CHRIST
Theres a difference between temporal treasures and TRUE TREASURE

I simply said that I agreed with you, but we both have more to learn. You should have said, "Amen!" and we could both go on with our lives.
can I go back and repeat what I at first said regarding what I desire to know?
Nothing
but CHRIST and HIM crucified
which is the wisdom and power of GOD for all those who believe
Okay, the first four books of the New Testament detail the life and teachings of Christ.
