slowly but surely one by one, everyone is leaving the church of my childhood, that i returned to when i moved back home. should i wait it out and see ifi a miracle happens, or should i move on.

This last Sunday, after church, i felt as if i needed to go home and pray thru to get back to where i was before i went to church that morning. It's sad to see this happening.

IT IS HAPPENING , A FALLING AWAY, OR JUST FALLING INTO THE RIGHT WAY. CHURCH IS NOT ABOUT MONEY. JESUS OVER TURNED THE TABLES, HE SAID "MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER. SOMETIMES PEOPLE FALL AWAY, OR FALL INTO THE ARMS OF JESUS. IF THE CHURCH IS NOT FEEDING FOLK, THEN THEIR IS NO BETTER PLACE TO BE BUT IN HIS ARMS, OF LOVE, AND AT HIS FEET LEARNING FROM HIM. THE SAME THING WHERE I GO ALSO. BUT REMEMBER WE ARE THE CHURCH.

One of the churches i go to is like that but thats because its sadly content and dont want to do anything as most of them are retired or older and believe once you hit a certain age they dont think its necessary to do anything. So some of us younger people wanted to do more so we prayed extensively about it and so we were led to go in the community to reach out you like what a church is suppose to do. so we started a kids club , went out onto the streets had like community days at church etc.
i suggest dont give up on the church, pray extensively about it and get other like minded people and try and do something :)

Grace52, these are the last days and growing cold and falling away began a few years ago. Churches are grasping for anything to turn this around, but it will only get worse according to prophecy. Many denominations have lost a third or half of their members. Denominations are now starting online churches in order to claim higher numbers of membership and get more donations. Church is where we, the believers, meet for worship, tithe, fellowship and are fed from the Word. The Church is all of us who believe that Jesus died for our sin, was ressurected and ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of His Father, God, and is returning to take all believers (His Bride) to heaven to live with Him eternally.

Our culture has us busy with so much nothing, we believe we have no time for church. If they could text church to your cell phone, membership would skyrocket. But prophesy tells us that this dimiinishing church is part of the end times plan of God.

Find a church where fellowship with believers lifts you up and encourages a closer walk with Jesus and promotes some type of accountability. Find a church that expounds the Word of God in truth and feeds your soul. Find a church where you can serve and be involved in outreach where you can touch the lives of those outside the church with the love of Christ! There are some of these remaining. It's worth your time to search and find such a fellowship.

God bless you!

Why are people leaving your church?

It's like the Israelites. We are all on a journey following Jesus to our own personal new beginning in our own personal promised land. When the cloud of glory moves, we can either get up and move, or stay with the people who don't want to move, and set up a permanent camp in the desert. That church was what He wanted you to do before. The real question is, what is God calling you to do in the next 10-20 years? Find that out from Him, and then you will know where the cloud of glory is taking you. You don't need "church", you need Christians to pray with, who you can trust to share your life with, and who can trust you.

We are church, we are part of one body we need to be eachother's strength
You need fellowship, pray and the word try find a person
Or people to maybe meet up once or more times a week this helps
Loadz as your being fed more xxx bests of luck god bless you xxx
