There are indications that God evaluates not only on individuals, but also nations and generations.
Judges 2:10 And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, that knew not Jehovah, nor yet the work which he had wrought for Israel.
I Pet 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

How will modern generations be evaluated?
As children, the greatest generation pitched in to bail out their families from the Great Depression. They came of age defeating the Nazis and Imperial Japan. That done, they sparked the most impressive eonomic growth history has ever seen, the US being the undisputed dynamo, rebuilding a free world. They gave birh to the most privileged generation.
We were flower children; self-prescribed drugs became a part of our culture. We came of age in the counselor's office, unable to defeat the abuses of our upbringing. Spending more that we had earned both physically and spiritually, we bankrupted both home and nation.
But when we were old and wise, we had one last great chance. In the last decades of our life, with the foundations of society crumbling around us, we are able to retire from the workforce and dedicate ourselves to whatever we wish. Knowing that Jesus called us to make disciples, knowing that our wisdom is at its peak, we are using this time to (fill in the bank).
