I share a library account with my mother and I saw a book discussing ancient rituals and meditations to help 'reconnect with nature and those around you'. I'm quite dismissive of these things but the book is literally called The witch of the forest's guide to natural magick. This isn't unexpected behaviour. She has been experimenting with different meditations and energy channeling things since her father (my grandpa) fell ill with cancer later last year.

I pray that this spiritual journey of hers leads her to the feet of God, of course, but I don't know what prayer to pray in this moment. I am a bit overwhelmed. I didn't expect it in my own family, but scripture warns us.

Please help. Point me to scripture that I can meditate over. Please join me in prayer that the books she's reading doesn't harden her heart any more than it already is. God's Will be done.

Does your mother know that God is against witchcraft and occult of all kinds? Exodus 22:18.

Maybe u could open up to your mum a bit more a out your own faith in God . Offer to pray with her , ask her to read the Bible with u every day , even if u only read one chapter a day together . When u give thanks for your food , do it with your mum . Let her c how much God means to u and how much of a comfort He is to u and try to share some of that comfort with her . It could b that she genuinely doesn't understand that God does not approve of such practices . I used to b vaguely interested in astrology many many years ago and I honestly didn't realise that it is to do with the occult . B kind and patient with your mum , she is worried about her dad and desperate to find ways to help him . Steer her gently towards the love and comfort of God by being a good example to her and by sharing your faith with her but not in an aggressive or judgemental way ❤️ .

She does vaguely but definitely not why or the scripture for it. I've prayed that the Lord will show me how to naturally bring this up with her. Thank you for the verse. Bless you.

I will definitely seek this more consciously. Thank you.

She's in a very vulnerable spot right now. Thankfully, we've talked through a bit of her troubles and her shifting mindset since the diagnosis so it isn't a topic that is taboo for us to open conversation about. I will need God's guidance to warn her without scolding her. Thank you for writing. God bless you.

You don't have to memorize every verse right now. Just become familiar with each point and mark the verses in your Bible margin at the bottom of the page.

For instance, you can remember to go first to 1 John 1:13 KJV to prove that God wants her to know that one can get eternal life and know how. Before you do, organize your plan to get her saved.

At the bottom of that page put Romans 3:10 and explain the first thing we need to know is that we have sinned, and so forth.

Once you do this I would use a yellow highlighter or underline those verses with a ruler.
Listen along with the pastor's video every night while turning to each passage.

Once you get familiar, practice on acquaintances and friends.
Once you succeed by leading the friend(s) to Christ in prayer, then you can get your family saved. You will get better with practice.
Do you have younger siblings?
I would start with them. Children are most likely to be open to the gospel. Success will help you with the adults like your Mom.

Keep praying daily for your Mom. My Wonderful Dad got saved at the dinner table starting with a verse that he was familiar with, John 3:16. I pray that you too will lead your precious Mom to the Lord.
If you want me to help or answer any questions, let me know. I also have more examples of how to get your family saved.

Blessings to you and your family.

hmm well in the Bible it's not mentioned about forests as the Holy Land is in the Middle East where there are deserts.

But the book of Job is good for understanding trials, and in the end Job has a conversation with God. God demonstrates how mighty He is and that He made all of creation, (all the animals and plants, and even the weather) and that sometimes Satan wants to counter what God does.
But if we repent and pray for others, like Job prays for his friends, we can find comfort in knowing we don't go through life alone and God does care for us, even the sparrows.

Also consider...the lilies of the field, how they grow, they do not toil and spin...God clothes them...
