One day on a warm September, a man named Jesus came to me.
In regal splendor. I did not know much about who He was but
He reached out His arms and said come to me. I thought who
do you think you are that I should come to you. He took a step
I took one back. He took another step and I thought ok lets play
this game. And he touched my arms and I trembled on that
warm September. Where did he come from, what did He want.
It was cool but I shivered. He looked at me and said " Don't be
afraid, I came to bring you to my Father." He has the words of
everlasting life. I say "okay, let me hear, " He took me to His
house of friends and began to speak and I listened and I heard.
Soon enough his story became clear to me and where I Should
be. Words felt softly, never harshly, as their meaning began to
touch my heart more and more. I treasured his words and He
dispensed them with so much power, yet filled with love . It
took me a few years but eventually He took me to his Father.
He did not speak in words but He taught me through prayer
That His words flow into my heart and not my mind. Jesus
was with me all the way, every day. and as I went on in years,
my love for him became my only true love, one without doubt
or misgivings, only pure trust. A love where we spoke in the
Spirit. and never in words. The closer I came to the time He
knew he had to die in surrender to the world. And my life
surrendered to Him. A sweet surrender. I can never go back.
There is nothing to go back for. The world does not offer any
warmth. The Spirit is too warm to even think to go back to
the cold.
