Just got back. Wasn’t a great program. It started out well, but then I noticed the guitar wasn’t quite in tune, and the program seemed a little flat after that.

Was with my family (parents siblings grandparents) in Kansas City today, went on a tour in the 'hood'. Went to the liberty war memorial.

It was fun, except the hood part. Had to explain to my grandfather, 'Don't point at anything, keep the doors locked, don't look at anyone for more than a second.'

Woah, I bet it was scaary.

Hah, yeah, Kansas City has some bad neighborhoods. A lot of crime. Cops can't do much, they are so outnumbered.

Aww, that sucks. Our cops are practically everywhere, and people still get away with stuff. It's not fair.

In Kansas City, the cops are afraid to go to the southern half of the city. It's bad.

How can the cops be scared to control their own city??

They don't control it. At least not all of it. They haven't since the 60's.

It's what happens when certain 'things' get into a city.

I used to live in western Kansas where there was no one. Now that I have lived east of Kansas City 50 miles or so, and have watched robberies when in the city, stuff like that. I haven no desire to live in a big city. Which is a conflict, I want to go into Business Finance or International Business. Which will put me in a city.

Hmmm..... interesting. I live in a city, and some parts can be kinda scary.

It's different when it's all you've known. The countryside is much safer. People tend to be nicer, but not always.
