Haughtiness sits on the ugly throne of pride,
Dismissing the good works of others
While puffing up my own accolades as if I have ever offered anything of myself better than filthy rags.
Every good gift and inspiration is from God,
Who is Himself glorified in this broken vessel
Lord I magnify your name and ask your forgiveness for
The pride that would lead me into filthy self-praise and adoration.
Let my heart worship only you Jesus, the works of my hands are not my own but yours
