I was sitting down and reading through the dailies then I turned on the TV and there was this film, and its about a couple that has been married for 10yrs without a child. One day, the wife saw a helpless and homeless young lady crying by the road side and she walked to her and asked her why she was crying and she told her that she is homeless, helpless and pregnant and that she has no place to go. The lady thought and said to herself this is an opportunity for her to have a child. She immediately took the homeless girl to a motel and had a discussion that favors her, made a plan with the young lady to sell her child to her after she gives birth, but without the knowledge of her husband.
She decided to fake a pregnancy and plan a travel trip with the young girl and after a nine month stay outside the US, both came back with a baby boy, the husband of the lady was so happy that after 10yrs he is a father, unknowing to him the secret of both his wife and the young lady who is now a maid in their home. But there’s a twist in this story, the young lady got so much attached to her baby that she wants the baby for herself and wants to pull out of their agreement, to cut the story short, the husband got to know about the secret of his wife, sent the young girl out of his house but also compensate her with a huge sum to start a new life with her son.
Now what is this story all about and how does it relate to the title “Mysteries of Life”? What so many people do not understand in life is that, not everyone will get married in life, not everyone will be parents, not everyone will be rich, not everyone will be poor, not everyone will be born normal, not everyone will be born a boy or girl, not everyone will be medical doctor, nurse, lawyer, engineer, architect, archaeologist, scientist, carpenter, electrician, cobbler, dancer, singer, comedians etc because it’s all the mysteries of life. We all should be contended with what and who we are, because GOD has made it so. No one is meant to have it all in Life. If you think your case or situation is worst, then you need to have a rethink because the man next door might be in a worst situation than you are. It’s a situation we can’t explain because it’s all a mystery that only GOD knows and understand.
