And what does the above have to do with Jerusalem/Israel not being Mystery Babylon? I just proved to you by Scripture that Mystery Babylon is destroyed during that last 3 1/2 years and will never be inhabitable again. Yet Jerusalem is shown to be inhabited during the millennium period.
…………
Jerusalem = Shown to be inhabited during and at the end of the millennial period (Rev.20:7-9)
Conclusion = That Mystery Babylon is destroyed and never to be inhabited again cannot be the city of Jerusalem which is shown to be in habited at the end of the millennium.
hi Ahwatukee,
What you’ve posted is basically the modern understanding of Revelation 17-22. The conclusion is mainly based on “Jerusalem is shown to be inhabited during the millennium period.”
Just a conjecture, but is it possible that after the destruction and desolation in that middle east area just before Christ returns, that the old Jerusalem area might not be very habitable, let alone be the holy city of worship for the whole world? Also, would the Jewish feasts be re-instated and the temple rebuilt for OT type congregations?
One of my conjectures is that shortly after Christ returns, the New Jerusalem of Revelation 21 also comes down, but not necessarily on land, but as a satellite or moon in orbit. This links to a very complicated article of how the New Jerusalem might orbit the earth (the theories in the second half are extremely complicated and not necessarily accurate, but it has been studied by physicists such as Joseph Farrell) --

IMO, the final destination of true believers is eternal heaven. The New Jerusalem comes from heaven to earth, but is not heaven itself. Those who live at that time will not have glorified bodies but bodies of flesh and blood (no pretrib rapture). After the final millenium, true believers will be transformed to heavenly beings and go to eternal heaven.
