When I was young I was told if the leaves on a tree were turned up it is going to rain. And it is true.... it can be a bright, beautiful, sunny day not a cloud in the sky and if the leaves turn up it rains... at some point in the day.

What other myths/ antidotes have you heard, tested and found out are true?
