We are the church. Yes! My concern and objection to the matter in the OP is, our first amendment insures De Blasio cannot permanently close churches or synagogues. That he threatens to and appears to take himself seriously bodes a warning about his mindset. Thinking himself beyond his office. Which should concern every Christian and Jew. Especially those in New York. Because a precedent is a terrible thing to set.
