Well, you certainly have a way Lynn....like plastic...and yes, am trusting. I've seen His hand move for me from the beginning so am not stopping to fear now. Am hoping to see this to the end. And the Ct scans say, an infectious process now.

A syrinx and herniated discs, the last of all this to go.

And thank you for the love..it's reciprocated. God bless!

What is shimmering flecks by the way? Glory is light!
Scare the dickens out of me! (Good thing I'm American. Dickens' wasn't. lol) I thought you just sat back and waited.

Almost glad to hear it is an infection. Much better than doctor's original choice, although feeling like you're hacking up plastic cannot be fun any which way. I will be praying for you. Also will pray for back issues, although no idea how the Lord will deal with that.

As for shimmering specks? Referencing the stuff coming out of Bethel.

@joaniemarie

Interesting article. Don't agree 100% with the approach, but there is
no offence in the article or in you sharing it.

Truth is in our Pentecostal Fellowship some people get the vision early
and grow and claim wonderful victories.
But some people just do not grasp the power and purpose of the indwelling
Holy Spirit and suffer needlessly; and mostly require other people to pray for them.
Some has amazing healings and miracles like Paddy; others put up with
ailments for years.

Some of our members have suffered severe injuries and consequences: like
Peter who fell through a verandah skylight and landed on the concrete below.
Broke his neck and is now paralysed.
Everybody prayed for Peter after a ring around for prayers.
And while Peter has recovered above and beyond his doctor's prognosis
and expectations he is still in a wheelchair.
What is important though is that Peter is rejoicing in his salvation and
still prays in tongues and comes to worship meetings.
No bitterness and resentment. No quitting.
It has always been about salvation not a blessed perfect life without
any tribulations here on Earth.

The Lord reminds us all that everyday is the day of salvation.
That every day is the day to submit and obey.
Every day is the day to be righteous and overcome sin.
It is always one day at a time.

And yes people in our Fellowship do die; mostly from old age,
now and then from cancer, etc.
But if they have kept the faith and upheld their testimony then we
rejoice that they are asleep in Christ Jesus - waiting for that trumpet call.

None of us here on earth will have it all down 100% so it's a blessing to agree to disagree. I think the major truth a lot of Christians don't know is that God is no longer cursing us nor is He sending us bad to bring us good. He uses the bad that is already here and works it for good.

God is not sending sickness and confusion and death. It is not God who sends death., God sent His Son Jesus so that we would have life and that more abundantly. Jesus defeated sin, sickness and death on the cross. Now we are called to follow Him one day at a time.

We will have tribulation but that tribulations comes from 3 places 1. The world 2. The flesh 3. The devil. Tribulations do not come from God. Yet many call God the God who sends us this evil. When He instead sent His beloved Son.

We all live in a sinful world and although Jesus died to release this curse., many will be suffering here because we live in a sinful world dealing with the millions and trillions of consequences of the sins here that keep on increasing. We share a planet with evil people who need to be saved but until they are., satan is having much influence. The world is groaning as it awaits for the sons of God to be revealed.

I can tell you what I've learned and share my faith with you Depleted but I've tried many times before and you have made it abundantly clear you are not interested in that. These forums are supposed to be in reality for discussion and debate...not personal attacks and accusation.

I'm very glad to discuss with anyone here and give an answer for the hope that is in me., and am able to do it without accusation even when persons are not of the same opinion. I'm not threatened so it's not hard at all to do. It's the 'hope that is in me' But some cannot do that and even find it impossible. Some have even gone so far as to say we Christians who believe in healing, speaking in tongues., and such things as this thread is daring to discuss., should not even be greeted.

So as this thread continues and we start discussing these very things, I hope you will listen and instead of feeling threatened., just listen and if you disagree., say so and give your reasons. It's my hope to open the conversation on these very important things we all deal with in daily life as Christians.
Really? I'm "attacking" you as hard as you're "attacking" me. You're merely passive-aggressive and I'm aggressive.

And that's kind of the thing I have against what you preach. It's always all about what you get. (This one includes wanting to not be threatened, when I have never threatened you. And now you pretend I'm feeling threatened, when you have never threatened me.) This is a Christian site. Not a Meian site. It's supposed to be about Chist, not what we can snatch from him and how.

If I keep talking about someone with baby-blue eyes, and that's all I ever talk about (baby-blue eye), do you really think I'm talking about that person or harping on one thing about that person? Do you really sense I care one way or another about the person himself, or is it all about the baby-blues? Likewise, all your posts are about how God heals. I definitely enjoy that God heals, (and definitely enjoy baby-blue eyes), but if that's the only thing I get from him, and I'm not giving him anything but telling people about his healing abilities, it really isn't talking about him. It's talking about what I get from him.

Best to walk faith in His Word before sickness Joanie. You are wiser than I was.

I'm daily walking like you one step at a time as the things in this life come., stuff we just never expected! Coughing up plastic sure sounds like a horror. I've heard others coughing up other diseases as well. GACK. Also., many of us have in other ways "coughed up" ugly mind sets changed from horrible memories of experiences to being set free of them. To believe that God wants us to have such faith is enough to cause me to have lots of hope while living here on earth where horrors do happen every day.

The fact that in Jesus we have been given a STRONG CONSOLATION and an ANCHOR to the soul is such a relief. To know and believe God wants us to believe Him about those promises and to walk IN confidence without fear. Fear not..fret not.. to walk in this life regardless of the things that look to eat us alive. That we are actually given the ability as we walk in the Spirit to be more than conquerors through Christ who loved us.. gives me tons of hope. Heb.6:11-20 specifically vs.18 and 19 after reading the context of Jesus having gone on through the veil so we can now in this new covenant go through the veil into God's presence.

[SUP]11 [/SUP]But we do [[SUP][a][/SUP]strongly and earnestly] desire for each of you to show the same diligence and sincerity [all the way through] in realizing and enjoying the full assurance and development of [your] hope until the end,
[SUP]
12 [/SUP]In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith ([SUP][b][/SUP]by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises.
[SUP]
13 [/SUP]For when God made [His] promise to Abraham, He swore by Himself, since He had no one greater by whom to swear,
[SUP]
14 [/SUP]Saying, Blessing I certainly will bless you and multiplying I will multiply you.
[SUP]
15 [/SUP]And so it was that he [Abraham], having waited long and endured patiently, realized and obtained [in the birth of Isaac as a pledge of what was to come] what God had promised him.
[SUP]
16 [/SUP]Men indeed swear by a greater [than themselves], and with them in all disputes the oath taken for confirmation is final [ending strife].
[SUP]
17 [/SUP]Accordingly God also, in His desire to show more convincingly and beyond doubt to those who were to inherit the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose and plan, intervened (mediated) with an oath.
[SUP]
18 [/SUP]This was so that, by two unchangeable things [His promise and His oath] in which it is impossible for God ever to prove false
or deceive us, we who have fled [to Him] for refuge might have mighty indwelling strength and strong encouragement to grasp and hold fast the hope appointed for us and set before [us].
[SUP]
19 [/SUP][Now] we have this [hope] as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot [SUP][c][/SUP]break down under whoever steps out upon it—a hope] that reaches [SUP][d][/SUP]farther and enters into [the very certainty of the Presence] within the veil,
[SUP]
20 [/SUP]Where Jesus has entered in for us [in advance], a Forerunner having become a High Priest forever after the order (with [SUP][e][/SUP]the rank) of Melchizedek.

Thank you Waggles., These are encouraging words from other Christians that we all need to hear. Life every day is a miracle and every day when I think of Jesus and what He has done it fills me with the JOY and hope of my salvation. He is able to do things we never would even consider to ask Him.

Each day I'm learning to dare to ask things that in times past I never dared ask. The more we learn about Jesus the more things we are able to hold on to about Him. He loves us unconditionally- and that instructs me to HOLD TIGHT and have a STRONG CONSOLATION in Christ. He is an ANCHOR for our souls and our minds. We never have to worry or fret in this life because of Him.

Because of Jesus., we believers have all the blessings and none of the curses. Jesus became a curse for us. How AMAZING is that! Jesus saved us and gifted us so many things in salvation. I've been learning about the word SOZO. Our salvation is full of things we are to be learning about. He has given us great and precious promises and sealed them for us. The Holy Spirit is the One who reveals to us Jesus.

Life for us is an exciting journey not only when we get to heaven in the sweet bye and bye but we need to walk by faith to see these promises in the sour here and now.

Thank you for sharing that post. You and Stonesofire have encouraged and edified me.

Your strong stand here encourages me. I've been the only one at times on forums to speak of things of the Spirit. That's why I love CC. There's so many here now that have joined. It does make for lively debate at times, but I see it as a well rounded group of His body.

And some that have become disillusioned by not seeing happenings that was prayed for or words spoken that didn't pan out? Prayer. And compassion, but truth first! Just as you continue in.

The experience wasn't enjoyable to me either. Is why I had that discussion with Dr. Jesus. Why like that? Lol

Yeah I've come to "learn" that some that sound "angry" actually "mean well" and just sometimes "get worked up" or simply "are the way they are",some people are polite and pacifist, some are straightforward and perhaps harsh sounding, but there will "always be arguments" because we "believe passionately" in what we have come to know as our beliefs beliefs.
I mean some can be quote "mean"-blunt and honest not worring about people's feelings, but each one of us has a "different role" some people will teach others through being kind and unjudging, some will teach by reminding someone of fear in God or sometimes hell, though particularly what we all do is "get people thinking" on God's word the bible, each of us will undoubtedly have "different methods" but so long as those methods are "acceptable to God" and "lead people to God" we can be "glad" of what we do for God/Jesus.
And truthfully "different people" may require "different methods" like a "strict message" or likewise a "gentle message","one method" isn't always going to be "the best".

Scare the dickens out of me! (Good thing I'm American. Dickens' wasn't. lol) I thought you just sat back and waited.

Some things may sound silly, but Pastor Bill is a great bible teacher. Is all I will say. I thought you meant the gold dust. That's another subject. :)

16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish,
yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far
more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which
are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which
are not seen are eternal.

The experience wasn't enjoyable to me either. Is why I had that discussion with Dr. Jesus. Why like that? Lol

It shows the huge need we who are "but dust people" have to be encouraged. Such words like "I had a discussion with Dr. Jesus" spoke to me too. We are so needy in our human-ness and we have to take a strong stand on the truth of Jesus love for us because often only we will be reminding ourselves (in the natural) about how much Jesus loves us.,

I need to hear about His love all the time in order to remember it all the time. I need to hear it and hear it and hear it over and over that Jesus paid the price for God to love each of us 100% freely without reservation. When grace teaches us these truths it transforms our old way of thinking into His new way of thinking. We need daily bread of it.

It's a fact that we can hear all about Jesus love and grace for many many days and weeks at a time and yet when we hear about the law and it's oh so familiar "give to get" philosophy and reasoning .,we can wilt. In the beginning of learning about Jesus love and grace I was skeptical that we are truly the righteousness of God IN Christ. That sounded waaay to familiar. But grace teaches us how to see and walk it out.

Titus 2:11
[SUP]11 [/SUP]For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind.[SUP]

12 [/SUP]It has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness (irreligion) and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lives in this present world,
[SUP]
13 [/SUP]Awaiting and looking for the [fulfillment, the realization of our] blessed hope, even the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One),
[SUP]
14 [/SUP]Who gave Himself on our behalf that He might redeem us (purchase our freedom) from all iniquity and purify for Himself a people [to be peculiarly His own, people who are] eager and enthusiastic about [living a life that is good and filled with] beneficial deeds.

Joefiz you are right I agree about all of us Christians being different. Some of us have had to cough up some old GACK before we could be even a little sweet. I get it. Even when we were sinners Christ died for us. How much more now that we are sons? After we get saved we have much to learn about the love and grace of God in Christ.

And then we need to learn how to walk it out by faith while being around other people. Yet He still loves and accepts us with every single one of the old habitual uglies. And even while the uglies are being demolished He is there for the duration. THANK YOU JESUS!!!!

16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory,
to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye,
being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length,
and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that ye might be
filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that
we ask or think,
according to the power that works in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages,
world without end. Amen.
Ephesians 3:

hey you know, it's your cliff and your car

I was only pointing out that fb is not the actual source of the article

were you ashamed or something?

you can stand on your convictions and fall on them too

the Bible never tells us to stand on our convictions. it does say the truth was delivered once for all.

we stand on the truth of the word of God.

again, you can stand on your roof or anywhere else you are convicted of :p

I also don't don't care what you listen to. the way I see it, you made your choice(s)..but as has been pointed out, this is not about you and your personal convictions

why do you seem to think it is always all about you? you express your convictions and and get upset when others disagree

here's a news flash: if standing on convictions was all the Bible was about, then the truth would be totally subjective

instead, we are told there is only ONE truth ... your convictions are not going to help anyone but again, I have truly no more care for what you believe

I do however, care about people being led astray, which, if they follow your convictions, is what will happen

Hi Joanie,
I don't know what the argument is about and I don't need to know. I read between the lines and understand well what you mean by not compromising your conviction: accepting accusation as strengthening our resolve to stand on what we believe. I admire how you stand the front line of battle regardless of what is thrown at you. Accepting God doesn't need our help and neither could we stop this. It happened to me also 2 days ago and thinking about it am in heaviness, have the impression this is happening because we are in the time of trouble of the end, and the enemy's plan is to cause divisions in relationships. I had a similar response to what I posted in not by works 2 days ago and I had to walk away not understanding why the anger. Wait is the direction I have in my spirit, it has to work for good as we are not offended, your conviction to remain standing in the battle without looking at the trouble inspires me. Here is some strong conviction, "From now on let no one trouble me for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus." The Reality that we cant lean on our understanding and identified in his death to trust Him.

Hi Stillness., Thank you for the note of friendship while we post in the forums. Many things get lost on here. And in life from day to day. We might mean to say something one way and it makes perfect sense. But later it gets read or re said and someone takes what we wrote or said down another road we never intended. It happens all the time.

It's human nature and the fact that so many words are written and read and used and said. There are actual posts dating back many years. Not to mention all the words said over the years in each of our lives.

One day a few years back I found some of my old journals from when my children were toddlers. All those many many words and how much of them were written in dire times some full of happiness and sadness. Many of the trials came because of the lack of truth and understanding.

Multiply that by trillions of years of time and people. I thought God knows all about it and was aware of it at the time it was written or spoken just as if it were today because time is not a factor for Him.

Then I think how blessed we are that Jesus died specifically for all our sins. Including that of stupidity and wrong thinking and wrong believing and wrong judgments against those we no longer see. (and who no longer see us)

It could break our hearts if He didn't forgive and forget our sins as far as the east is from the west. I got to say it would break mine should I not remember to think these truths of Jesus and His grace every day. He paid for our sins and for the free access to God we have now because of Jesus. That is real and changes everything. He totally cancelled out our penalty 100% cancelled. YAHOO

We don't have to live with broken hearts anymore. He can and will restore us more and more each day as we see the truth. I'm more set free today than I was last year since I believed. Was just reading Heb.8:12 and 10:12-25 Please read it Stillness and be blessed too.
:D

[SUP]12 [/SUP]For I will be merciful and gracious toward their sins and I will remember their deeds of unrighteousness no more.
[h=1][SUP]12 [/SUP]Whereas this One [Christ], after He had offered a single sacrifice for our sins [that shall avail] for all time, sat down at the right hand of God,[/h] [SUP]
13 [/SUP]Then to wait until His enemies should be made a stool beneath His feet.
[SUP]
14 [/SUP]For by a single offering He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy.
[SUP]
15 [/SUP]And also the Holy Spirit adds His testimony to us [in confirmation of this]. For having said,
[SUP]
16 [/SUP]This is the agreement (testament, covenant) that I will set up and conclude with them after those days, says the Lord: I will imprint My laws upon their hearts, and I will inscribe them on their minds (on their inmost thoughts and understanding),
[SUP]
17 [/SUP]He then goes on to say, And their sins and their lawbreaking I will remember no more.
[SUP]
18 [/SUP]Now where there is absolute remission (forgiveness and cancellation of the penalty) of these [sins and lawbreaking], there is no longer any offering made to atone for sin.
[SUP]
19 [/SUP]Therefore, brethren, since we have full freedom and confidence to enter into the [Holy of] Holies [by the power and virtue] in the blood of Jesus,
[SUP]
20 [/SUP]By this fresh (new) and living way which He initiated and dedicated and opened for us through the separating curtain (veil of the Holy of Holies), that is, through His flesh,
[SUP]
21 [/SUP]And since we have [such] a great and wonderful and noble Priest [Who rules] over the house of God,
[SUP]
22 [/SUP]Let us all come forward and draw near with true (honest and sincere) hearts in unqualified assurance and absolute conviction engendered by faith (by [SUP][a][/SUP]that leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), having our hearts sprinkled and purified from a guilty (evil) conscience and our bodies cleansed with pure water.
[SUP]
23 [/SUP]So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the [SUP][b][/SUP]hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.
[SUP]
24 [/SUP]And let us consider and give [SUP][c][/SUP]attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities,
[SUP]
25 [/SUP]Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching
