Daniel 2 is the same vision as Daniel 7 which are 4 kingdoms.
Daniel 7:1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.
2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.
3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.
Daniel had a vision of 4 kingdoms that were different than each other which is the 4 ways of people.
Although all 4 kingdoms went by the 4 ways one of those ways was their chief mode of operation.
4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.
The first is Babylon, lion, which represents human religion, the occult.
They rode on eagle's wings which king Nebuchadnezzar acknowledged the God of Israel as the greatest of the gods.
He proclaimed throughout his kingdom that if any person said anything amiss against Him that they would be cut in pieces and their house made a dunghill.
The king's son took the throne and blew it which the wings were plucked and they were known as the kingdom of man.
This is the same kingdom as the gold in Daniel 2.
5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.
The second is Medo-Persia, bear, which represents human cruelty in war.
It was raised on one side for the Persian influence was greater.
3 ribs in the mouth of it which is 3 nations they conquered in league with them.
This is the same kingdom as the silver in Daniel 2.
6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.
The third is Greece, leopard, which represents human wisdom.
It had 4 heads which when Alexander died his kingdom was divided in to 4 sections with a general ruling each section.
This is the same kingdom as the brass in Daniel 2.
7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
The fourth is the Roman Empire, iron, which represents pushing for territory, world domination.
10 horns come from them which is the world divided in to 10 sections with a leader in each section.
8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
The antichrist comes from the 10 horns who come from the Roman Empire.
23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
They shall devour the whole earth, and tread it down, and break it in pieces.
Which is by way of the new age christianity which interprets the Bible and religions according to the occult and evolution, and people are going to evolve to be spiritual, and Jesus became an ascended master, and there is no personal God, and the New Age Christ is the final teacher.
The religion of the antichrist.
This is the same kingdom as the iron in Daniel 2.
And the 10 horns the same as the 10 toes in Daniel 2.
11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece will never have physical dominion again but their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
Which means their ways are still on earth.
The Roman Empire does not lose their dominion until Jesus puts down the beast kingdom in Revelation.
Which the gold, silver, brass, and iron do not pass away until Jesus hits the feet of the image in Daniel 2.
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
All 4 kingdoms ways are at the beast kingdom.
Babylon, lion, human religion, the occult, the kingdom of man.
Medo-Persia, bear, physical cruelty in war to go against all people who oppose their system.
Greece, leopard, human religion.
Roman Empire, iron, pushing for territory, world domination, physical dominion.
All 4 kingdoms chief mode of operation the kingdom of man in its entirety.
The kingdom is Babylon in spirit which represents the kingdom of man.
A person either belongs to the kingdom of God or Babylon.
Revelation 17:7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen,and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
The 7 heads are 5 kings, kingdoms.
5 are fallen.
Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece.
1 is at the time John wrote Revelation.
Roman Empire.
1 is to come and will continue for a short space.
Three and one half years.
The beast is the 8th king and will be of the 7 because the devil influenced those 7 kingdoms.
Revelation 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
In chapter 12 the crowns are on the heads Satan in the spiritual realm deceiving people by the 7 kingdoms.
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
In chapter 13 the crowns are on the horns Satan in the physical realm deceiving people appearing as the antichrist.
