Please pray, I had to put down my doggie bc of my negligence. On top of that I took him to an animal hosp who put him into cardiac arrest. I've asked for forgiveness and know my Binky is in heaven but am fighting visions of him suffering. I KNOW it's dwelling on the past, PLEASE how do I fight the images that are trying to reoccur in my mind. Yes I KNOW he's at peace and he even still loves me and I him but my mind wants to DWELL on my negligence in ignoring his perineal hernia. I'm working on it but could use any other thoughts on this. Thanks so much for any advise.

What you're asking is how to bypass grieving. Answer, you can't. Grieving is healthy and necessary.
And if you feel guilt for a part you felt you played in this then that won't magically go away either.
Emotions are not meant to be shoved aside or ignored and there is no magic to take them away.
Healing and recovery take time and engaging your feelings, not wishing them away. So allow yourself to feel how you feel for a time, but don't let it run rampant. Feel it and confront it and deal with it for a while, then try to distract or keep busy or fight the thoughts.
Dwelling is unhealthy. Avoiding is unhealthy. But that middle ground is where you actually find healing over time.

You have to be at peace with God, then you will be at peace with your pet. Talk to God and make resolutions with him. The animal is spirit, spirit returns to God.

Also vip ask God for forgiveness because that’s the only way He will listen to you. Think of your best explanation and ask for forgiveness. Once that’s done He will grant it to you. And your heart will be clean. Maybe you couldn’t stand the suffering that’s why you did it.

TabinRivCa - I pray that you find comfort in knowing that your Binky is in heaven. I pray that you find peace within your heartfelt prayers for forgiveness from our lord as well as Binky. I pray that while it will tug at your heart strings - I pray that you find some comfort to know that Binky has and always will love you - that is the true blessing of our lord to allow dogs to show us the true meaning of 'unconditional love.' Binky has already forgiven you; I pray that you find strength and faith in our lord who is sure to bless and help you to find the strength to be able to forgive yourself...
God Bless

Praise report. I walked out back by doggie's grave, found a penny (from Heaven?), looked at sun & said a prayer. Right after that the Holy Spirit said 'Would your dog want to come back and relive the ordeal, if not why would you'? I thought of my doggie running and playing there and knowing we will meet again. This had to have come from Heaven. Thank you.

Hi, yes the audiobook 'My Vision of Heaven' by R Springer describes beautiful scenes of animals all playing together in peace. Also, see Praise rep to SubHumanoidal. Thx soooo much.

Hi, Thx for that. God is soooo good. I was out by B's grave, found a penny by grave, looked up to sun, prayed & talked to Binks. Suddenly a thought came down, like right from Heaven. The HSpirit said 'Binky is now playing and having a wonderful time, would he want to go back down and relive that ordeal?.....Then why would you!' That had to b from the Lord bc it has healed my heart/soul. Thank u for your beautiful words, that helped also!

Lord, I ask you to cast every sin as far as from the east to the west

transform the remorse and regret into love, and peace and the sense of being forgiven

fighting against sin is always a tough battle, and Satan is adding insult to injury

I ask you to grant Tabin the strength to tell Satan to "take a hike" and to take a long hike as far as possible

may God make sure that Tabin forgot what it's like to feel sad, as God have promised to wipe out the tears from every eye in heaven (Rev 21:4)

amen

Dear Friend;
I understand how you feel. Not the same but I had a Parrot who was afraid of nothing. One morning he come running down his later to see me but I didnt see him on the floor. I stepped on him. When he finally died, I cried like a baby all day. I used to drive drunk and I thank God i never hurt a human being! Dogs are amazing as they live in the now and your binky, never even thinks about what you did or didnt do. It sounds like your a sensitive soul and harder on your self then you should be. But satan (like the demecrats) never lets a good tragedy go to waste and I believe that you should tell him to shut up and accept Gods forgiveness and peace in this matter. Remember our bible hero's and the horrible things they did and yet God forgave them, far worse then neglect. my prayer for you and I hope the pain will ease soon.

ps for what its worth, I think God gave use dogs so that we can see how he see's us. Man they can love like mad, but they have alot of really nasty tendencies that we cannot accept !!!

Praise the Lord for that! I still think about my pet sometimes and feel a twinge but I, like you have moved on. Im not sure of the theology but can you imagine going to heaven and seeing all our pets and loved ones waiting for us their? Its something that I can just imagine our loving Lord would do as a surprise for us. God bless you :)
