I have just graduated from university. Right now I feel very tired and afraid. I am waiting for an interview for a teaching position. I have been planning a class for 5 days and no progress has yet made. I get stuck. The problem is I am too shy, small and afraid,and maybe too stupid. I have had social phobia for many years. Everything looks difficult to me. So many times I want to change but I can't get out. I am still afraid and shy. I am very tired. I wish I can live without these cares.

Hello sweet....you have graduated and you already have achieved that.....thats is more than you can imagine...
God is right there......what I would do if I were you.....is thank God for a job He has for you....I am old and have
partial college ...i never finished...and He blessed me with a job more than once....so smile young sister your
about to start an exciting adventure...as far as meeting people.. once God blesses you with a job....you will have
many opportunity to come out of your shell....stay in Gods word and all will be well.....God tells us to live each day...one by
one....if you do that stress is less....I will be praying for you....may peace and joy come your way..

Your problem lies in beating yourself up. While God has his plan for all people, he did NOT create you to be a dunce.

Because you speak it AND think it, it's true. What you BELIEVE ABOUT YOURSELF...whatever that might be...is true.

If you believe you are a winner, YES YOU ARE.
If you believe your are a loser, YES YOU ARE.

Yes you CAN live without these cares. BUT, it's gonna take a lot of work on your part.

That 'work'...is developing a POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE. Words of affirmation. Words of trust and faith. Words of life and prosperity. It wont be a QUICK fix (It never is), but SPEAK POSITIVE, and SPEAK GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF.

Speak positive, reap success.
Speak negative, condemn yourself to a lower quality of life.

STOP BEATING YOURSELF UP. Speak victory. Without a proper positive mental attitude, your odds of winning diminish.

i don't buy into the whole "speak positive and make it happen" jazz.

I used to be shy but I've found keeping a journal and writing what I would have wanted to say helps. Also hanging around people and listening. people love a good listener.

you don't always have to speak but God doesn't want you to be afraid to speak if you want.

I'm a teacher right now and I remember when God told me in middle school I totally rejected the idea.

i was the kid who said "um" 27 times in a 5 minute speech. my 7th grade english teacher made a point of using it as a case example of what NOT to do.

I'm still insecure, but its not about what I feel.

Its about doing what God wants me to do.

I've found focusing on the students and doing the best thing for them has made me stop focusing on myself.

I learn to speak loudly not because it is who I am but because it will help them.

get some rest. sleep will help a lot. Will keep you in my prayers.

Be confident!
Don't look to yourself with your own eyes and human sometimes unfair toughts. Look to yourself and thru the situations with the new heart we all won by the merciful God, look thru the eyes of Jesus and his tough but victorious examples. Have faith.

God has a beautiful plain to you.

The blood of Jesus Christ that's the price He payed for us and to forgive our sins, even still sinners He loved us and sent his son to save us... we are also a gift from God to Jesus, we are his sons... loved ones... and that's not all! 1) You was approved for any teaching position (porbably)

2) We all got stuck (even on sidewalks)

3) ..."small and afraid,and maybe too stupid." Who told you you need to be big to teach? I´m a socialized hermit (I think it so) and that´s a common phobia, unless you are a KARATE Teacher (a dangerous thing then).

Sweet there is nothing wrong with being shy, but when it hinders you from moving forward it is an attack from the enemy. GOD does not give us a spirit of fear but of Peace Love and a Sound Mind. Speak over yourself and be encouraged, know GOD is always with you and is very proud of you and your accomplishments. Conquer your fears in the Name of JESUS and be brave. Practice speaking in the mirror and to family and friends. Have them interview you and do it many times this will help you when you go on interviews and when you are teaching. See yourself doing it without fear and before going to bed read scriptures that will encourage you and pray for GOD to give you a bold spirit.

small steps. that is how God leads us.

I never thought I would be comfortable in front of a class.
Some days I still am not comfortable but the focus doesn't have to be on you the whole time.

It is good to teach your students to speak up and share what they know and learn.

you are still in our prayers. remember God will give you strength to do what He ask you to do.

I been here. Shy, anxious and scared of trying things I really want to do. Lady, as soon as I accepted Christ into my life, He's been slowly but surely pulling me into the spot light of His love. I sing in public now (my church and other churches), I dance on the worship team and I speak my poetry out loud. Something I thought I would never do because people just plain unnerved me. But eventually I had to realized (lol) God mad me see that its not for the people that I do these things but to the glory of God. This is my testimony.

God loves you too much to leave you in the lonely space. I pray in the name of Jesus that God fill you up with His joy, peace and fearlessness. I declare that you will move in the power and timing of God. And this too will be your testimony and you will help someone else in return in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
