Hi, I need prayer because I'm having more than friendship feelings for another woman ( I am a woman) I've never felt this way about a woman before and I've only ever felt this way about one man whom I was going to marry but then it fell apart. She's in the same course as me so I have to see her everyday and this is all playing with my head and making me very unstable emotionally. I feel like I'm inlove with her. I've been keeping my distance from her as much as possible (which is quite difficult cause were in a performing arts course-acting together and we have the same group of friends) she got very upset with me so I thought it would be easier to tell her that I had feelings for her so she understood why I was ignoring her- Can you also pray to give her understanding and paitence with me ignoring her- I dont want to lose her as a friend but I feel better when I'm not around her. So please pray for me that these feelings leave me and leave me quickly :-) thankyou

I know what you're going through. I haven't had feelings for a woman in particular but I've been curious as to what it'd feel like to kiss a woman. (I'm female as well.) For me persoanlly, these thoughts came and went over the years. Seldom though. I very seldom wanted to kiss a woman. She'd have to be especially beautiful and I didn't see very many women like that.

My advice for you is to number one, Pray! Pour out your heart to God. Tell Him your feelings. The Bible says Jesus will be no means cast out who comes to Him. (John 3:37)

If you're basically heterosexual, then passions with another woman would be sin. In Romans 1:26-27 homosexuailty is condemned for those who CHOOSE to be that way. I personally think God thinks differently of those who have been attracted to the same sex since they were born.

My next piece of advice is to take Romans 1:26-27 and 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 18 and other Scriptures pertaining to homosexuality and sexual vice and just meditate on them (Psalm 1:2) Read these Scriptures over and over and think about them. When I'm having a problem, I read Scriptures about it, and I have seen results doing this.
