Hello everyone,

I recently slowed down one of my friendships due to him not respecting my beliefs and not having Christian morals like I do, the friendship was drawing me away from God. I was so blind, but luckily God saved me, and told me I should end the friendship.

So I ended the friendship, and he told me I was pathetic and told me that I should never put a religion before him. He doesn't understand that God comes first so I am in desperate need of prayer for him and myself. That he respects my decision. I told him God comes first for he is the one who saved me.
He Told me that the Christian religion is stupid/pathetic and that there is no God.

Pray for him! Pray with all you have to save him.

I need prayer to be strong and to have a STRONGER connection with God. Thank him for saving me for guiding me.

You made a very good decision, not an easy one. Will keep this in prayer.
 
You have made the right decision sister. Remember that the kingdom of God is NOT of this world, therefore those who belong to this world will hate you and persecute you, Jesus said it Himself. Remember this.

Matthew 10:32-33
32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

He is worthy of being declared, after giving His only Son for us. After leaving His glory behind and choosing to become lower than a servant and dying on the cross for us. What you did for Him was an act of worship. Now continue to worship Him who is worthy by living your life in obedience to Him. The reward you have in Him is greater than anything this world could offer; Eternal life free of pain, sorrow, or death.

You and your friend are in my prayers in Jesus.
Skye, I had to do this with a close friend as well, it was heartbreaking, but a year later I heard he had accepted Jesus, and was training in ministry, teaching preschoolers. :)
God works all things to His good perpose. :)
