Hi, this is my first post. I need prayers for me and my daughters. My husband is psychologically and verbally abusive and I am starting the divorce process. I feel so guilty for giving up on marriage bUT he is so toxic. My heart hurts bad.
 
Lord please protect this family from getting ruined. Change j417's husband's attitude, towards his wife and daughter. Let it be fill of love, respect and understanding. Lord we bring this matter to you, please heal the hearts , relationshis within this family. In Jesus gracious name, Amen!
 
Will keep you in prayer and that God works a miracle. Keep yourself and your children safe.
 
Thank you. I am afraid. I don't think he would hurt the kids physically but mentally he will. He cocked a loaded handgun and held it to his chest in front of me and screamed. It was horrifying...especially since I lost my first husband to suicide and found him. My heart is so sad and hurt. God is my inner strength and I rely so much on Him to get me through.
 
Welcome to CC, girl. I’m so sorry to hear about your situation. My heart ached as I read your post, and I wish I could give you a hug. I know how difficult and painful it must be for you. Please know that I’ll be praying for you, asking the Lord to surround you with His perfect love, strength, and peace. Have you ever tried talking to a counselor? A good counselor might be able to give you some solid guidance. Hope everything goes well with you and your family. May God be the strength of your heart and your refuge. Hugs!
 
  • I'm sorry you are going through this separation with your husband. I see so many glimmers of hope in what you have written. You got out and did some exercise. You prayed! I think that is the most encouraging thing to hear. You realize that so much is out of your control, but you are asking God for help...help for yourself and your husband. Do you like to listen to audiobooks or podcasts? If so, I have some suggestions I'd love to offer for your walks.
 
  • I am praying for you and your daughters. I know right now is a scary time, and it sounds like is one of many times you all have experienced. Are you safe? Do you have protective orders in place? Do you have a church family or Christian friend that you can lean on now during this time? If you would like to PM me, I'd be happy to listen to more.
 
Thank you. I plan to get myself and my oldest daughter in counseling once he moves out.
 
I do have a close friend from church who has been such a blessing during this time. Soon to be ex is working out of town right now and probably for another month.
