1. The war in afghanisitan. Provoked by the terrorist attack on sept 11, 2001. My brother an I wete in the marines at the time and experienced this war 1 st hand. To this day it continues. We have removed sadam hussien and osama bin laden and other important terrorist from power. Yet we our presense there remains and may until a peace treaty is signed. This may be the peace treaty with israel that will start the 7 year tribulation. This is my speculation based on christian news sourses that relate news to bible prophecy.
2. Oil prices. There are but a few oil companies and the islamic nations in the middle east control a big share. I have heard theory that some of the major oil spills recently were intentional as a way to justify a higher price by supply and demand. About one third of the worlds population is islam. By controling a limited resource like oil, these nations grow in wealth and more importantly power. A power that can influence world wide govermental decisions. By gaining cobtrol of resources like oil, food, and water you could control the world and bring about a world leader.
3. Health care. Another way to make it possible to control the world. A smaller population is easier to control than a large one. By reducing health care you make it harder for elderly to get life sustaining medication, you make it more expensive to have kids, etc. You can put a populatiin in desperation willing to accept a government system like communism for resolution to problems.
4. Taxes. I'm not big into politics but if you can make the poor, poorer and the rich, richer you can have a few with money and power rule over the lower class. Land for example. If you have a few wealthy people that own a large percent of farm land, you can contol a majority share of the worlds food supply. You could cause famine if people would want to rebel or cause a problem that only you can fix because you control it all and appear to the majority as a saviour.
5.climate control or global warning. If you create problems or through deception turn a mole hill into a mountain, you can persuede people easier or again look like a saviour. Also by destroying the balance of nature, creating more natural disasters you can limit population, resources, etc.
6.economy and resession. Who has suffered here. Has the president or congress or these wealthy corporation ceos lost a house to forclosure. Have they been denied a loan for a house or vehicle. Or worried about how to feed their family because they got laid off for a few months. No. They gain power while the middle and lower classes fall lower. Could this be the wealthy creating a problem to grow in power and money.
These opinions are not based on any certain information in peticular. They were formed by various sources for sometime now. The bible does give us signs and prophecies of the end of the age. I do believe we are heading fast to the revived roman empire and the last empire before the return of jesus. The world will not hand over control to one man unless brought about step by step problem after problem. These could be considered conspericy theories but when current events are coupled with bible prophecy with the end result given, it starts to make sence.
