Hi everyone,
Lately I've been very distant to God, the people I hang out with aren't Christians, and they aren't making wise decisions and I need some prayer to keep staying strong and not give in to them. I need prayer for God to bring some Christian friends into my school, or for me to be bold and bring some people to youth. I really need some help in coming closer with the Lord, because I just haven't felt him as much in these past month or so. I love God with all my heart, but I just don't know why i'm feeling like this.

Thank you Jesus that your grace is sufficient for this child.
You see her yearning to be closer to you Lord,
you know her needs. Thank you that you answer us
in our lonely times, and that our feelings are just that, feelings.
Thank you that your love for us goes much deeper than feelings.
Thank you also that your eye is always on us and that your hand
is not too short to save.
I thank you that you are working to bring Skye Godly friends, and that
you are using her to witness to her current friends to make more followers of you.

And finally thank you that we don't walk by feelings or sight; we walk by faith.
And thank you that you are growing Skye's faith as she learns to rely on you
at this time in her life when she doesn't feel it.
Thank you again Lord Jesus that you are always there.

This is a verse we taught our children:
He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. (Proverbs 13:20)

The bible tells us that a fool says in his heart "there is no God." (Psalm 14:1)
Your use of caution with your friends is wise, indeed!

I'm praying the Lord sends you like minded friends--fellow believers.
My sense is that you're feeling this way because God's Spirit in you is warning you, and you are listening ! :)
Is there any way for you to get to church? Sometimes the youth at a church are not the best reflection of Christianity,
but you might find one or two people your age who also love our God.

If you want to, please keep us updated?

Father surround her with people who know and Love you!
Guard her heart and mind in Jesus, give her wisdom and insight.
So she will be strong no-matter who she is around.

Remember that Jesus is never far aways from you, sometimes flesh just blocks our sight. :)

praying being around non christians is not spiritually healthy for us Lord provide very much alot highly spiritually excellent friends.amen i am praying see 1 cor 10:31..........

I've been doing so well this week, I can honestly say these and many other prayers have helped a bunch
