I'm not saying the Iranian nation is all peaches and cream, but it certainly doesn't appear to be an aggressor in the current situation, and it certainly doesn't appear to be condoning terrorism.

I've never seem more clear and obvious signs of one who is diluted by the deception of evil. You are the kind of person scripture warns about wolves in sheeps clothing. You're so blind you wouldn't know the difference,..

Evil as you know it will be proven to be profoundly misunderstood very soon. What is it the scriptures say about the End Times? Something like " And God will send over them a diluting influence that they will believe what is false". Carefully examine yourselves using the words of scripture rather than examine the scripture using the words of your mind,..

That's a fairly serious accusation. So can you refute any of my alleged heresies with scripture? Or are you the type who likes to practice his ad hominem attacks, without contributing anything substantial to the debate in terms of facts, data, inconvenient truths etc? :D

i have to think that anyone who doesn't think the Iranian state condones terrorism has never heard of Hezbollah.

No military attack will be waged against Syria, yet, if such an incident takes place, which is impossible, the Zionist regime will be the first victim of a military attack on Syria

But by that statement, you must also accept that the United States condones terrorism by their sponsorship of Al Qaeda in Syria and elsewhere. And if you don't accept that this means the United States condones terrorism, then I am being just as consistent as you in saying that I don't believe Iran condones terrorism.

Do you understand anything about military strategy? The reason Israel and the United States want control of Syria, is so they have a foothold to attack Iran. Israel controls the US. Therefore, an attack by the US on Syria, an Iranian ally, is an indirect attack on Iran. If Iran waits until the US and Israel have control of Syria before defending itself, the battle for them is lost.

I don't believe in war in most situations, but the strategy of this should be fairly straightforward to anyone. If Israel attacks Iran (indirectly), Iran will attack Israel (directly). As in all wars, the victims on both sides are usually not the ones who made the decision to commit bloodshed. But the self defense justification is obvious.

Someone who is Elect of God naturally recognizes Truth. If you don't find truth in what I say then that just proves my point[: if you're truly concerned about it, you'd take my advice and read up on your History and Literature. Of course, non of that will benefit you at all if your scriptural foundation is weak,..

There is no point in arguing or debating this. I am simply discussing it. The challenges of the unsaved only strengthen my position, you shouldn't rely on me to prove you wrong. As for Netanyahu, his speech is Biblically correct and necessary for the leaders of this world to hear. God established the leaders of the Nations for His good purpose, so lets not make a fool of the one who God put over Israel. Take a look at the other leaders and their actions, our own for instance, produces fruit that reveals his blatant anti-Christ position. Netanyahu is right, Israel will be left alone. And America will be against her. The time we find ourselves living in is not to be taken lightly. The events that have been occurring in the past decade are Historic,. And therefore important for us to make note of. As Christ told us beforehand what the world will be like before His return, we must be watchful. This age is extremely dark and evil is advancing. The grace of God's hand upon the world is dwindling before our eyes. As Elect of God, we are to realize this is highly significant in determining where we are Eschatalogicallly. So what good does it to you who just blow off steam? Be fruitful in your observations and prepare for the coming persecution of the godly,..

if you take the time to look at a map, you might notice that Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq border Iran, but Syria does not.

do you admit that Iran has a long history of aggression towards Israel through both rhetoric & proxy terrorist military groups?

"I can't debate you in this because I will lose. So just accept my words as true."

"I am holier than thou, so I am right, and you are wrong, and probably unsaved."

"Netanyahu's speech is biblically correct." (Actually, his speech is heretical. He is taking scriptures fulfilled at the coming of the Holy Spirit, and applying them to future pagan Jews).

God established the leaders of the Nations for His good purpose, so lets not make a fool of the one who God put over Israel.
"Let Israel's leader be your god."

"Blah, blah, blah. Fear, panic, etc. America isn't going to war against innocent people as fast as Israel's leaders would like. Tragedy... Our god will be very vengeful, etc. etc."

surely He scorneth the scorners, and gives grace to the lowly.

we know who is King over all kings and in whose hand all things are, and how He mingles mercy with justice.

all of us need to remember our place, and speak about God with fear and humilty. what good can come of ridiculing God's doings, or accusing each other?

don't we agree on much more important things? pray we learn to accept rebuke, and to wait patiently on the Lord. we'll hear of 'wars and rumors of wars' but we know these things must come to pass.

Iran is not located next to Syria, but I understand losing Syria to the US would cut off Iran's support from its proxy military groups, a significant strategic defeat and foothold for US invasion. Look at how the US and Co. started pushing for direct involvement in Syria, when their own terrorist groups started suffering defeat. With ongoing economic warfare against Iran, I also understand that Syria plays an important role in helping relieve some of these effects.

I will admit that Iran has a long history of aggression towards Israel, if you and the Israel-firsters admit that Israel and the US have a long history of aggression toward numerous other countries (many of them now occupied), including Iran. If you don't accept that Israel/US sponsorship of terrorists and revolutionaries are a history of aggression, then neither is Iran's sponsorship of it's own proxies a history of aggression. Let's not play favourites, let's be consistent in our judgement.

My previous post to AmmiAmmiel was in response to his very serious charge of heresy.

We do agree on more important things, but Christians are too often involved in war-mongering, when we are called to love our neighbour. It is hypocritical to peddle for war in Iran because of Iran's so-called support of terrorists or aggression, when the same is occurring in our very own countries without anyone caring a jot.

Do you think its the good intentions of the Iranian leadership that keeps them from attacking Israel?

I think the kool-aid is laced with bourbon.

I think a lot of the Arab countries, and people in general, would be happy just to live and let live, if there wasn't a constant threat of war due in particular to the Israeli leaders coveting land that does not belong to them.

Ok then, lets give West Bank back to Jordan, who can then continue with the oppression of the so called Palestinian people who live in the West Bank. Jordan has killed more Palestinians and expelled even more from its nation than Israel has. For example, look at what happened in 1970, The Black September conflict, from which the terrorist group, Black September took thier name, when King Hussain declared military rule after a coup attempt and went on a revenge killing spree, this resulted in terrorists groups such as Fatah and the PLO going to war against Jordan.

Even today Jordan suffers from being attacked by the PLO and so on, so yes, lets demand that Israel gives the "stolen land" back to the nation from which it stole it from, Jordan, then that nation can continue with its genocide project behind its own borders.

how about: let's mind our own business and deal with the Great Commission and help the suffering and oppressed on all sides?

they haven't attacked anyone in 250 years. they want to be left alone. they do not want the World Bank or IMF or to become part of Greater Israel.

please get a clue.

Chaplain Goldstein sits in a gold throne found in Saddam Hussein’s palace in Baghdad.

Chaplain of Ground Zero Speaks in Advance of Attacks’ Anniversary - Chabad-Lubavitch News

An Army officer and Chabad-Lubavitch rabbi who famously received special permission to keep his full-length beard while serving the armed forces, Goldstein would later be sent to Iraq where following the fall of Baghdad he would preside over Chanukah festivities at the former palace of toppled dictator Saddam Hussein.

....

do you know what your military is doing over there?
:(

“The people of Israel have come home never to be uprooted again,” concluded Netanyahu.

Maybe he should have read Jer 30v7, Dan 12v7 and Luke 21v20-24 (esp. v24) which still have a future fulfillment! :p
