Thanks for this, I sent an Email to my Senator Mr. Heinrich explaining that if our State is supposed to stand for loyalty and the constitution. Then how can he send disrespect to one of our closest allies, and the most powerful nation in it's region of the world. I shared my belief saying that if his non-attendance was due to his political views, then he has disgraced my State.
He also posted a "tweet"/twitter post of him saying if we follow Mr. Netanyahu's advice we would lose IAEA inspections... I was going to comment saying that since February the IAEA says that Iran likely has military grade nuclear development programs that they are not aloud into. And what does it mater if we lose inspections if we can't use them... But I figured it didn't fit the E-mail...
I then sent a E-mail to my other senator Mr. Udall and thanked him for attending the speech even though he disagrees with Mr. Netanyahu.

Just realized, too, they forgot one, Kayla. Vice-President Joe Biden, constitutionally the president of the Senate, wasn't there either.
I think he announced he was going to be "out of the country" before he even knew what date the speech was going to be given.

I posted what Netanyahu said, and in my other post was responding to one who said he couldn't be Netanyahu would lie.
There was another report on the multiple times Netanyahu said Iran was a couple months to a couple years at obtaining a nuclear weapon. He did that for 25 years, yet Iran still does not have one, so where is the being sarcastic from posting truth?

I was trying paint him as anything, just responding to people out to make him look bad just because he was not at Netanyahu's speech. They already had these negotiations planned, and I think keeping nuclear weapons out of the hands of Iran is more important than listening to a speech. So Biden not being there is justified as he was handling the more important issue at hand.

Once more, with clarity: Biden is not working on the Iran "agreement."
He is allegedly in Guatemala City, according to his "official" schedule. That's a long way from the Swiss lodge at which Kerry is "toiling" away on a bad deal.

Still the fact remains he is off handling the more important issue at hand, which has been what Biden has been doing all along. He has been more involved and acting more like the president then Obama has, as Biden has been more involved in foreign affairs issues then anybody else has. Pretty much every time a discussion in another country has come up on issues Biden has been there. He even changed his agenda to make a quick stop in Saudi Arabia when the issues there started up about a month ago.
Even though 50+ democrats did boycott Netanyahu's speech, there still was democrats at the speech.
They did not all boycott it, and like I said before Netanyahu did not go against the approach that Obama is taking with Iran, just that the deal needed to be a better one. It is amazing that are own fellow citizens here in the U.S. can not give Obama one ounce of gratitude, when Netanyahu comes here and spends the first minutes of his speech thinking and applauding Obama for what he has done for Israel.

Yes John Kerry is the main lead at the table during these negotiations, but Biden is the head of it that Kerry keeps in contact with on the progress. Biden as vice-president has a lot of obligations, and as I posted in the other post 58, when it comes to things over in the middle east Biden has been there. Biden has been acting more like a president when it comes to foreign affairs then Obama has.
