Never try to sort out an error with other error!!! (Part 1)
• “The righteous is more excellent than his neighbor, *but the way of the wicked seduces them*.” (Prov 12:26).
One of the great problems in our society is the attempt to work out a predicament without Christ. Nonetheless, without Jesus, there is no perfect solution. Always a group of people is harmed.
For example: in order to settle the problem between unsuccessful marriage, it was instituted the divorce. The excuse is that nobody deserves to stay suffering in the company of someone. Nevertheless, in virtue of this law, many other problems arise:
1 – Many boys and girls use marriage to give the coup and get money;
2 – Children suffer traumas;
3 – The divorced end up marrying again and bringing problems still greater for them and their new spouse. Not to mention that this only make the soul of both get very discombobulated and hurt.
Even in the middle of those who believe in Christ, problems like this occurs. In most of the couples, in order to hamper the treason, man and woman impose to themselves and to the spouse the social isolation from people of opposite sex.
However, this make room for other problems:
1 – This make the couple to disobey the chief commandment of Christ:
• “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. As I have loved you, you should also love one another. By this all shall know that you are My disciples, if you have love toward one another.” (Joh 13:34,35).
And if the neighbor is of the opposite sex? This one should be disparaged? The Holy Scripture is clear: the Creator abominates two weighs and two measures (Prov 20:10) and a fountain can’t send forth at the same hole the sweet and the bitter (James 3:11,12). As sons of the Creator, we need to be like Him: to make no exception of people (Deut 10:16).
2 – This turn husband and wife empty inside:
• “Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” (John 14:1,2).
The heart of those who believe in Christ is the Father’s house. In each heart there are room to be occupied by many people, namely, those in whom Jesus wish to carry out His forgiveness, mercy and grace through us.
If we ditch or belittle even one of them, our mission in this world won’t be complete, Jesus’ love in us won’t be thoroughly perfected, we will feel void, there will be more room for the sin in our life and, finally, we will end up losing our eternal salvation.
Certainly, you are asking: “but how can we sort out these problems?”. Tomorrow we will answer this (if Jesus allows). For the time being, have a good day seeking only in Christ and His Word the solution for your problems.
Can you be sure: any solution without Christ and against His teachings only will put off and aggravate your problem.
