Hi, my name is Matilda and I’m from Sweden. I was born and raised in Sweden in a Christian family, though not a preaching one. However, I’ve always been more outspoken about my faith than my family, and I place much of my life and trust in God’s hands.

I’ve had a few difficult years mentally, with unhealthy habits and anxiety. But now I’ve come to realize that I should place all my anxiety in God’s hands and let Him guide me through life toward the right choices and remain faithful to Him.

I just wanted to briefly introduce myself, and I’m grateful to be here. God bless you all.

What a lovely name. I did not know it was Swedish.
Would you like to share a little bit about your part of Sweden, culture, landscape, etc?

I currently live in Motala, an amazing lakeside town with one of Sweden’s largest sandy beaches. It’s filled with restaurants and events during the summer. It’s a wonderful summer town with lots of greenery and water. And since I have a dog, it’s a fantastic environment for both him and me.
I worked in a jewelry store here for a few years, but then I decided to start studying full-time to prepare for university. I still work there occasionally as extra staff.

We also have beautiful churches here. My favorite is the one by the lake – it has an incredible view.

Welcome Matildabegoodbegod, I doubt that anyone here could honestly say they have not had a few difficult years with mental issues, unhealthy habits and anxiety. Some have probably had it worse than others, but in my experience, we all have gone through such, sometimes many times.

Where you live sounds wonderful, I wish similar locations were a little bit closer to where I live. But at least I live in a mostly quiet peaceful location.

But my connection to God has always been stronger than unhealthy habits and anxiety, which feels comforting because they’ve never won. And I believe we all sometimes need extra support in our faith and a space to share thoughts and darker moments. That’s why I felt so grateful when I found this page.

That sounds wonderful!
I love lake side beaches.
I led a singles ministry and some of our activities were hikes and picnics next to lakes. Some of my favorites were the water falls, caves, and overlook day hikes. There are some medium and large water falls within the short drive. There are also pleasant mountains that have some of the most biodiversity in the country...Lots of hiking trails.

I had a ministry and a related business that funded it using live wildlife from around the world and Carnegie Museum displays to bring Christ to the schools, churches, and festivals. They were mixed with educational entertainment like the Crocodile Hunter but Christ centered.
I'm preparing for a new ministry that won't include animals, but reach the unreached with the gospel. As soon as I am able, I plan to share the vision with churches to help me reach the institutionalized, nursing/assisted living homes, etc.
I like to share videos with those from other places because West Virginia state, USA is too beautiful to keep to myself.
This is where miracles happened and many prayers were answered.

These are a few of the smaller falls.
