BREAKING: Florida is funding research into whether ivermectin can help fight cancer.
Through the Florida Cancer Innovation Fund, the state has allocated tens of millions for innovative cancer projects, including studies on repurposing generic drugs such as ivermectin. Priority has been given to exploring high-dose ivermectin combined with other therapies for advanced tumors.
A recent observational study (the largest of its kind reported so far) found that 84.4% of patients taking ivermectin and mebendazole reported their cancer had either completely disappeared, shrunk, or stopped progressing after six months. The study was published in *Anticancer Research* and involved real-world clinical outcomes.
Experts note that this was not a large randomized controlled trial, and more rigorous research is still needed before any conclusions can be drawn.
