I have re-invested a lot of my investments into physical Gold, and I have converted 80% of my TSP (Gov't 401K) into a Gold/Silver IRA with Patriot Gold...
Just for a fun personal experiment (man of science) - last year I threw $3K into BitCoin (via Robinhood) and it is currently at $11K.
and I always keep $1-$2K in cash just incase...
But again I am NOT a financial advisor - but I do believe that it is always better to be safe than sorry...
