Among the 45% who still trust someone, the leader was Fox News — at a grand total of 5%. ABC, NBC, and the New York Times each clocked in around 1%. 𝐂𝐁𝐒 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞.

That list didn’t used to describe the party of Harry Truman. It describes a party whose activists firebomb recruiting offices and burn Teslas, whose campus movements invite speakers accusing Israel of genocide, whose congressional members have voted against resolutions condemning antisemitism, and whose answer to religious conservatives is that their faith has no place in public life. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞. 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝.
But Vance made the contrast that matters:

The Biden administration brought more than 450,000 unaccompanied children across the southern border and placed them with sponsors across the country — many of whom were never properly vetted. The Trump administration is now conducting welfare checks on those children. What they are finding is devastating.
One case has emerged to put a face on the failure. A 12-year-old girl from Honduras entered the United States in 2014 and was placed with Felix Bustillo Diaz, a distant uncle, as her long-term sponsor. Bustillo had a criminal conviction on his record. The Biden administration knew. In 2024, they granted him 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬 anyway — shielding him from deportation while a child remained in his home.
Trump’s ICE found her. According to Fox News correspondent Brooke Taylor, she was found “𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘯𝘫𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺, 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘯𝘶𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘨𝘢𝘴𝘩 𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘻𝘪𝘱 𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵.” Bustillo and two other women connected to the home have been arrested. This girl spent eleven years in America being passed from relative to relative while 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐞 the entire time.
This case is not isolated. The Trump administration has now located 𝟐𝟒,𝟒𝟎𝟎 𝐚𝐭-𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 across the country through the ICE welfare check initiative — and the stories follow the same pattern of sponsors who should never have been approved. Running alongside this sweep, ICE’s “𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘣𝘢𝘨” in Florida — a 10-day enforcement operation conducted in partnership with the state — resulted in 230 criminal illegal aliens arrested, including more than 150 sexual predators who specifically targeted children. Democrats spent years fighting to extend these sponsorship programs, hand out TPS designations to anyone who asked, and block ICE from doing its job. They called it compassion. A 12-year-old found with zip ties on her wrists is the outcome of that compassion.

As severe weather approached the event, the storm appeared to separate around the White House and the Ellipse, allowing the historic UFC gathering to continue.

President Trump posted his five-point ’Save America’ agenda on Truth Social this week — a platform covering election integrity, parental rights, and women’s sports that lays out exactly what he wants Congress to deliver before the midterms.
The election integrity planks are already in motion. The House passed the SAVE Act (H.R.22) 𝟐𝟏𝟖 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟏𝟑 this session, mandating photo ID to vote and proof of U.S. citizenship to register. The bill would also require every state to run its voter rolls through the Department of Homeland Security’s Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements database to identify and remove noncitizens already on the rolls. In the Senate it sits behind the filibuster — which means every Democrat who maintains that blockade is on record opposing voter verification.
Point three restricts 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥-𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐬 to narrow exceptions: illness, disability, military service, and overseas travel. Democrats argue this disproportionately burdens low-income voters, citing estimates that 21 million Americans lack readily available citizenship documents and 2.6 million have no government photo ID at all. Republicans point out that eighteen European countries require voter ID and none of them are described as voter-suppressor nations.
Points four and five go to the cultural front. 𝐍𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 — Trump signed executive orders on this in his first week back, and roughly two dozen states have codified their own bans in state law. No transgender surgeries on children — 28 states have restricted or banned these procedures at the state level, with federal enforcement the unfinished chapter.
This is how Trump governs the agenda between legislative sessions: post the platform, put the base on alert, and let every Senate Democrat stand on record explaining why they’re blocking voter verification, protecting unrestricted mail-in ballots, and opposing protections for girls’ sports.

"Anybody who plays chess knows that, on occasion, you end up in a stalemate.
When that happens, you reset the board.
While everyone is debating the Iran deal, Donald Trump may have just reset the board — and almost no one noticed.
Angry, emotional people don’t think clearly.
In martial arts, we call it “blind rage.”
It blocks your vision.
So while people argue over whether Iran should have assets freed or whether other countries should pour hundreds of billions into reconstruction, they’re missing what’s right in front of them.
Tunnel vision caused by anger and frustration has hidden the bigger picture.
People love talking about Trump playing “4D chess,” yet many missed it this time.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠.
Gas prices matter.
America’s 250th anniversary is approaching.
Midterms are coming.
And deportations remain a priority.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐬 𝐈 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐫𝐞:
First, many believe Trump should have “finished the job.”
Second, many are furious that sanctions were lifted, claiming it rewards Iran and that Iran “won.”
𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮:
𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐧.
Let’s start with what “finishing the job” would actually look like.
The burden would fall almost entirely on the United States and Israel.
Most of Israel’s military hardware comes from America, and much of the world — including many NATO allies — stayed on the sidelines.
That means the weight and responsibility rest on us.
We went into Iran to stop them from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
Trump asked them peacefully first.
They refused.
𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐛𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐧𝐮𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
A nuclear-armed Iran would be a global catastrophe.
It would dramatically reduce our leverage and make any future conflict far more dangerous — especially if Iran threatened shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
From day one, Trump’s stated objective was clear:
𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐛𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐧𝐮𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞.
Regime change was never the primary mission.
He has consistently said that if the Iranian people want to change their government, that’s their decision.
But when Iran threatened the Strait of Hormuz, simply walking away was no longer politically or strategically viable.
Critics would have immediately accused America of starting a fight and then abandoning a critical global shipping route.
Trump’s position was firm:
𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭.
And that is exactly what happened.
Now the United States is free to step back.
What happens inside Iran is not America’s business — until it becomes America’s business again.
Stopping a nuclear program that threatens international security is our business.
Permanently policing the Strait of Hormuz by ourselves is not.
𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠:
𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭.
And secondly, people argue that removing sanctions from Iran and allowing Iran to receive $300 billion from its neighbors is insane.
𝐈 𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭.
𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐢𝐭.
Most of us, including myself, believe that money will not go to help their people but once again toward building their military.
𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐩.
Let’s see if they take it.
Because if they do, the world will see.
And regardless of what they do with that money, we have the strength and power to knock it down again.
Donald Trump knows — as we do — that Iran is unlikely to fully honor this deal.
So why agree to it?
𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠.
Giving Iran access to reconstruction funds acts as bait — an incentive to keep them behaving, at least through the midterms.
In the meantime:
• 𝐆𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧.
• 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬.
• 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝟐𝟓𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞.

Iran isn’t going anywhere.
The political landscape, however, can change dramatically.
𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐟 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 “𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐛.”
You would see destroyed infrastructure, millions of people homeless and jobless, no electricity, food shortages, and water shortages.
Democrats would flood the media with an endless barrage of photos and videos of suffering — all of it blamed on Donald Trump.
The public relations nightmare would have been relentless.
It would have almost certainly cost us the midterms and very likely the 2028 election as well.
𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩’𝐬 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐩 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲.
The memorandum gives Iran a 60-day window on nuclear issues under IAEA eyes while reopening the Strait and allowing limited oil sales.
𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 — 𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧.
Meanwhile, America’s 250th anniversary unfolds with lower gas prices and no endless war headlines.
If Iran cheats, the world sees it clearly this time.
If Iran breaks this deal, the narrative flips completely.
𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝:
“𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲? 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐭.”
But be careful what you wish for.
Because if Iran breaks its word, the conversation changes from:
“Why did America act?”
to
“Why did Iran betray the agreement?”
𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞.
The next time action is required, it may come not with worldwide condemnation, but with requests for help.
Instead of America and Israel standing alone, the world may finally acknowledge the threat and share the burden.
In chess, sometimes the most powerful move isn’t the attack.

How Donald Trump Just Flipped the Script
And No One Saw it Happen.

"Anybody who plays chess knows that, on occasion, you end up in a stalemate.
When that happens, you reset the board.
While everyone is debating the Iran deal, Donald Trump may have just reset the board — and almost no one noticed.
Angry, emotional people don’t think clearly.
In martial arts, we call it “blind rage.”
It blocks your vision.
So while people argue over whether Iran should have assets freed or whether other countries should pour hundreds of billions into reconstruction, they’re missing what’s right in front of them.
Tunnel vision caused by anger and frustration has hidden the bigger picture.
People love talking about Trump playing “4D chess,” yet many missed it this time.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠.
Gas prices matter.
America’s 250th anniversary is approaching.
Midterms are coming.
And deportations remain a priority.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐬 𝐈 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐫𝐞:
First, many believe Trump should have “finished the job.”
Second, many are furious that sanctions were lifted, claiming it rewards Iran and that Iran “won.”
𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮:
𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐧.
Let’s start with what “finishing the job” would actually look like.
The burden would fall almost entirely on the United States and Israel.
Most of Israel’s military hardware comes from America, and much of the world — including many NATO allies — stayed on the sidelines.
That means the weight and responsibility rest on us.
We went into Iran to stop them from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
Trump asked them peacefully first.
They refused.
𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐛𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐧𝐮𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
A nuclear-armed Iran would be a global catastrophe.
It would dramatically reduce our leverage and make any future conflict far more dangerous — especially if Iran threatened shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
From day one, Trump’s stated objective was clear:
𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐛𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐧𝐮𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞.
Regime change was never the primary mission.
He has consistently said that if the Iranian people want to change their government, that’s their decision.
But when Iran threatened the Strait of Hormuz, simply walking away was no longer politically or strategically viable.
Critics would have immediately accused America of starting a fight and then abandoning a critical global shipping route.
Trump’s position was firm:
𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭.
And that is exactly what happened.
Now the United States is free to step back.
What happens inside Iran is not America’s business — until it becomes America’s business again.
Stopping a nuclear program that threatens international security is our business.
Permanently policing the Strait of Hormuz by ourselves is not.
𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠:
𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭.
And secondly, people argue that removing sanctions from Iran and allowing Iran to receive $300 billion from its neighbors is insane.
𝐈 𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭.
𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐢𝐭.
Most of us, including myself, believe that money will not go to help their people but once again toward building their military.
𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐩.
Let’s see if they take it.
Because if they do, the world will see.
And regardless of what they do with that money, we have the strength and power to knock it down again.
Donald Trump knows — as we do — that Iran is unlikely to fully honor this deal.
So why agree to it?
𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠.
Giving Iran access to reconstruction funds acts as bait — an incentive to keep them behaving, at least through the midterms.
In the meantime:
• 𝐆𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧.
• 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬.
• 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝟐𝟓𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞.
• 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞.
We can always finish the job later.
Iran isn’t going anywhere.
The political landscape, however, can change dramatically.
𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐟 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 “𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐛.”
You would see destroyed infrastructure, millions of people homeless and jobless, no electricity, food shortages, and water shortages.
Democrats would flood the media with an endless barrage of photos and videos of suffering — all of it blamed on Donald Trump.
The public relations nightmare would have been relentless.
It would have almost certainly cost us the midterms and very likely the 2028 election as well.
𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩’𝐬 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐩 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲.
The memorandum gives Iran a 60-day window on nuclear issues under IAEA eyes while reopening the Strait and allowing limited oil sales.
𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 — 𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧.
Meanwhile, America’s 250th anniversary unfolds with lower gas prices and no endless war headlines.
If Iran cheats, the world sees it clearly this time.
If Iran breaks this deal, the narrative flips completely.
𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝:
“𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲? 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐭.”
But be careful what you wish for.
Because if Iran breaks its word, the conversation changes from:
“Why did America act?”
to
“Why did Iran betray the agreement?”
𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞.
The next time action is required, it may come not with worldwide condemnation, but with requests for help.
Instead of America and Israel standing alone, the world may finally acknowledge the threat and share the burden.
In chess, sometimes the most powerful move isn’t the attack.
