The part that I forgot to add into the conclusion... is the fact that many of these hard working athletes inevitably end up wrestling with some form or fashion of DEPRESSION... both of my boys went thru this phase at one point or another in different ways..
One of my oldest son's former teammates even qualified for the Olympics... but inevitably went thru a depression and committed suicide...

A congressional hearing this week produced one of the most direct acknowledgments of Biden-era NGO complicity in child trafficking to appear on camera. A member of Congress posed the question directly to three expert witnesses: if an NGO employee participated 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐲 in the trafficking of human beings — including children, destined for the sex trade — should that person be convicted and incarcerated?
All three witnesses answered yes. One by one.
The lawmaker then laid out what that means in practice. Across the four years of the Biden administration — 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 — 𝐚 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 grew and prospered under the open border. These were not passive actors caught in a broken system. NGO employees “participated willingly,” the lawmaker said. They made money doing it. They “make bank,” he put it.

For four years, the open border was not just a policy failure — it was, according to this testimony, a business opportunity exploited by people who were supposed to be helping migrants. The children funneled through weren’t the mission. They were the 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭.
The witnesses confirmed: yes, conviction and incarceration. The executive branch confirmed: the files are being built. These NGO operators spent four years believing there would never be accountability. They were wrong.

Herbert Leon Kimble stole $1.2 billion from Medicare by running a nationwide scheme that steered elderly patients toward orthopedic braces they didn’t need, billed the insurance companies for medically unnecessary equipment, and pocketed the proceeds. He pleaded guilty in 2019 — then fled to the Philippines before sentencing.
Four days after Vice President Vance’s White House Anti-Fraud Task Force published its inaugural Most Wanted Fraudsters list, the Philippines government helped the FBI track Kimble down and return him to U.S. custody. He is the second Most Wanted Fraudster captured, with two arrests in under two weeks. The FBI credited the “all-of-government approach” — share the intelligence, make it a national priority, and 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐞.
Acting AG Todd Blanche put the broader picture in concrete terms at Monday’s announcement: in just the past two months, the DOJ’s fraud enforcement effort has 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 $𝟓 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔.𝐒. 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐲. That’s money that was stolen from American taxpayers and clawed back. Blanche described Kimble as “one example of the hundreds of examples” that make up that $5 billion total. The Vice President’s task force has been so effective, Blanche said, because it is an all-of-government approach: DOJ, FBI, and international partners working together to make getting fraudsters in jail a stated national priority.
Kimble’s scheme ran from 2014 to 2019, targeting the elderly and 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 while he ran a network of call centers steering vulnerable patients into unnecessary brace prescriptions. He vanished offshore before he could be sentenced, apparently confident the Philippines was far enough away to wait things out. The Vance task force published its list on a Thursday. By Monday, the Philippines government had helped the FBI find him.
