Hello everyone,
I’m still quite new to this group. I’m a widow who has been feeling a little lonely and was hoping to make some meaningful Christian friendships here. A few days ago, I introduced myself in the introduction thread, and I was truly touched by the kind and welcoming responses I received from so many of you.
However, I haven’t had the opportunity to connect with anyone personally yet. Perhaps I’m still learning how everything works here. I would love to get to know fellow believers, share encouraging conversations, and build genuine friendships rooted in faith.
If anyone would like to chat, fellowship, or simply get acquainted, please feel free to reach out. May God bless each of you, and thank you for making this community such a warm and welcoming place.

I'm new-ish here myself, but I think that I have figured out a few things. From what I have observed, there are different ways to connect with others here. For example, you could start a thread in a number of different places if you are looking to discuss a particular Bible topic or pretty much any sort of topic at all, within reason, of course. On a more personal level, you can interact with members by clicking on their usernames and then posting on their profile pages, unless their profiles are set to "private." Mine currently is, but that can be changed in just a matter of seconds. I think that anybody can view profile page conversations. On a more private level, direct messaging is an option, but you need to be a paying member to have the privilege of sending DM's to others. Membership is $24 for one year. I joined immediately, but I have only sent a couple of DM's since joining. Or you can let a member who already has that privilege know that you would like for them to DM you, and then you will be able to respond even if you are not a paying member yourself. I think that's how it works because I answered a DM before signing up myself. That's about as far as I can take you. I hope that you find what you are looking for.​

When I joined this site in 2014, I was a widower. My first introductory thread was called Quite Lonely. I met my wife here shortly after I joined who is also a member. The best place to really get to know the members is the Singles Forum. I formed many enduring friendships there. Even married peeps, like me, are welcomed there. Good people there, friendly, upbeat, and encouraging. May God bless you too. Welcome to CC.
