Has anyone else experienced any login issues since the new security measures were put in place here (the opening security feature that tries to evaluate whether or not we are human or a bot, that is)

It was functioning fine on all of the devices that I use to log into CChat (it either checked and then went right to the CChat Homepage (w/o asking me to do anything), or it asked me to put a checkmark in a box first).

It still operates like this on my desktop and laptop, but on my iPhone, the security-check process begins but never finishes. Instead, it just keeps cycling back to the beginning of the process and never allows me to get to the CChat Homepage (nor does it get to the point of asking me to check a box).

Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this problem

Thanks :)

p.s. - my iPhone is running on the most up-to-date Apple OS (iOS 26.4), just FYI, and I have turned it off and rebooted it, as well.

I’m still experiencing the same kind of problems getting past the security check to login on my iPhone, but twice now, in about the last 48 hours (this being the 2nd time), I was able to login.

So, it is sort of working, every now and again, but it is hardly working like it should be.

This was an update, for anyone who might be interested :)

If I write a lengthy paragraph or three, it won't post until I go through that security check again. I have no idea, but maybe there's some setting that adjusts for sensitivity. A couple weeks to a month ago there were bots posting as new members. They were pretty easy to spot. Maybe the administrator had to turn up the settings or something. (?)
I'm just grateful we are able to log in even if we are struggling financially unable to donate.
He's been very generous.

Latest example Of security interrupting post and deleting half of it. It wouldn't be for content. It seems to do that if I take much time to write it.

I have had no problem Friend, all was good for me, I have a mac os 26.4 in case the admin needs to know.

Just want yo say I enjoy your posts and appreciate your wisdom and knowledge of scripture but above all else, I admire your coolness in all circumstances, you are true gentleman.

Blessings to You and have a good Easter.

It is becoming much more tedious to make a post on the forum. Lately I can only make a long post by copying what I want to say, tripping the forum's security check and THEN pasting my post in. If I just make a post and try to send it, the forum gets insecure about whether I am still me and triggers another security check, and there goes half my post.

(Like just now. Typing out only this short post was too long and the forum started getting insecure about me again. And I took less than two minutes typing it out.)

I solved my security login problem (on my iPhone) by using a different browser (I now log onto CChat with Brave Browser instead of Edge .. on my iPhone). I haven't had login issues here on my other devices (as I mentioned earlier).

I've considered moving to Brave Browser for everything since it comes set up with an ad blocker already activated (which isn't necessary here, but is at a number of the other sites that I go to), and it is just as fast and easy to use as Edge and Chrome (and it's WAY faster on sites that have ads, of course).

I just use Firefox. I'm not that Brave.
Perhaps trying a different browser, be it Brave, Chrome or Edge, etc., would solve your problems, like changing my browser seems to have solved mine :)(y) Yes, you would have to be brave ;), but not excessively so, as you can always go back to using Firefox.

If you do end up giving one or more new browsers a try, let me know what happens (if you have the time to do so, of course).

Thanks!

God bless you!!

That's a good thing yours works. I like Brave ad blocker too.
I just wanted to report that with the Android system and Brave browser, I have the same problem logging in through the half a minute security check. Then most posts make me go through it again. I have to leave the post to the main page for it to work. Then much of the text disappears when I return, so there's only cookie crumbs left.

That said, I have noticed that the security system just isn't keeping out the cookie monsters. They aren't malicious, I suppose, but are obvious AI bots. I just ignore their canned responses. Perhaps the security is filtering out the malicious bots though.

PS: It actually works this time, first time.

I just had to log in twice within 60 Seconds to respond with an emoticon.
I just read the FULL title and you asked for iPhones only.
Sorry, I'm using an android, but do use brave.

After admin reads the feedback, I'm sure it'll get worked out when able.

Hello HealthAndHappiness, actually, what I meant was that the login problems that I was having happened on my iPhone (only), not on any of my other devices. That's still true, and I still don't know why, but I found a work-around for my iPhone (as I know you know) by simply changing the browser that I was using to login here :)

God bless you!!

@techsupport,
I just thought you'd want to know that my last post I proofread right after posting and added a word. The cloudflair system kicked me off and would not allow me back on. It went into a constant refresh loop over and over until it ran out my 5 minutes time limit. I had to X out of my brave browser and start over, going through cloudflair again and signing back in. My end was OK.
