my name is Jeff.
I'm a Lutheran and consider myself a Christian philosopher of sorts. i don't do that professionally. I manage inventory for a company that fixes balers and compactors.

I"m also a member of the Lutheran Science Institute board of directors. I'm a published author not only in their newsletters but also in a couple of places including my own web site.

I willl be divorced this December and I have two kids, one which is home yet with me. Otherwise for fun I keep up with current music, enjoy writing, playing games (I'm trying to make some progress with Call of Duty especially fighting the zombies) and other misc. things like pool or air hockey etc.

I'm also a political junkie and I enjoy figuring out what makes people tick

I'm also a big Star Trek fan. I have all the movies
 
hello Jeff and may you be blessed on here...do you believe that Jesus is God and do you turn to Him in love and turn from and hate your sins?
 
You can see you're a professional philosopher. What does it mean to believe Jesus and turn from your sins to Him "essentially"? How many other ways are there, and what are the possibilities that are non-essential in this regard?
