Interesting. He gives you a warning borne of love, and you call it a "threat." Ironically, I was just like you once. I "came on line with the truth." You should, too, as should anyone who does not proclaim Christ as their Savior and Lord.

Now, while you, of course, think love can be synonymous with ''believe what I believe or burn in bloody hell'' (which I've seen dcontroversial relish at the prospect of in regards to some sinners he reckons worthy of being tortured as such) I'm simply not thick enough to equate love with threats. And I know, I know, ''he's trying to save me from hell'', ''he's scaring me into it''.

Really, though? I don't even think you understand the implications of your own bible. Certainly not the historic errors that exist within it and certainly not the sheer poetic irony in telling someone they'll be burned in

by God.

You know, I don't particularly want to argue with you, not after the other day and what I learned, but what you said to me, it doesn't strike any person as compassionate. Nobody takes such ''warnings'' kindly. They sound like threats, and they are, in ways, threatening. I'm not a child and so such things don't particularly phase me, which is why saying things like that does not win you any favour -- most if not all adults who don't believe as you do will take no heed of it, because as far as '''trying to save'' goes, that method is simply the wrong one to use. It is the wrong way to go about it.

As for what you've written, I've seen some comments you've made along the lines of ''they'll know what side their bread is buttered on in a place with extreme heat and no air conditioning''. Obviously not in those exact words, but the jist was the same, and comments like that come across with the same threatening undercurrent, alongside a strong sense of relish -- as though you take pleasure in the thought -- and it is not just a case of one such comment, because I have seen at least three.

I distinctly remember thinking what I am thinking now on at least three occasions after reading your words on this website.

No offence, but even though I have said such things does not mean I relish in the thought of anyone cooking for all eternity...

God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, nor do I...........the comments I have used.....
