The flesh works

the spirit
“But the fruit of the Spirit is
love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22-23 KJV
we have to choose the spirit and follow the spirit in order to put the deeds of the flesh to death
“Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:
but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”

it’s a choice we have to make to follow the flesh and it’s lusts or the spirit of Christ which bears fruit
“And they that are Christ's have
crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.”

We have a choice to make
“Know ye not, that
to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey;
whether of sin unto death,( flesh )
or
of obedience unto righteousness?”( spirit )

If I’m serving satans Will which is sin I’m following the flesh and need to repent , if I’m serving Gods Will obeying the gospel I’m walking in the spirit
