Mankind and the sin of the flesh was so terrible, that there was only one way to save man from damnation. To save his spirit, not his flesh.To offer them the free gift of eternal life by believing Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for our sins that we might be saved. The flesh was always destined to be destroyed because it could not live up to God's standards, but the spirit will be saved if everyone believe in Jesus. . those that don't,not only will their flesh be destroyed, but their spirit as well. God do not want to save the flesh, but he wants to save the spirit. .That is why scripture says that we must worship him in truth and spirit. He has no use for the flesh, and after this world, there will never be flesh again to sin against God.
