No TV or movies?

Have you too noticed all of the unpleasantness in TV and movies? Do you like hearing OMG, which in my opinion is taking God's name in vain, or hearing the profanities? Do you want to end up with such a mouth? Do you like the scenes of blood and gore? Then why would you listen and watch? Are you filling your minds with such unpleasantries? Are there any secular shows on TV that do not have these unpleasantries? Is Satan deceiving you and everybody else?

Romans 12:2 Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Phillipians 4:8 ... whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

well TV isnt so much unpleasant as it is mostly rubbish. or advertising.

My mum usually watches things on Animal Planet but David Attenborough often talk about evolution as if humans in some distant past were apes. Which is kinda a strange. Nobody really believes him, just the scientists who get lots of funding from espousing evolution.

Otherwise, the travel/food doco shows are ok to watch. sometimes. Depends. Sometimes they just are just showing off though.

the good thing though is there are always BOOKS to read. You dont have to watch tv at all.
 
People better learn the psychology behind TV. It is a tool to condition the human mind. The collective mind is like a HIVE in need of control and of course censorship.
I can’t watch the news anymore and read my Bible when my significant better is watching a show.

The next generation is now secretly conditioned through the web, which is a more sinister kind of evil. TV is more transparant, ideologies infecting our kids on the web is extreme and schools are following the hype.

Suit up children of God, the dark principalities have taken over.
 
We have a tv station here called SBS, government owned of course, the most evil thing to watch imaginable. Documentaries about the Nazis during ww2, they broadcast the gay Mardi Gras in Sydney, encouraged same sex marriage, documentaries on sexual relations, threesomes etc, muslims, buddhists are all one with Jesus apparently . Its a wicked thing to watch, and there news is full of lies and half truths. oh and they hate trump and always report him in a bad light. Our commercial tv stations aren't much better. I stopped watching tv sometime ago, and now avoid news as well, even on the radio.
 
I agree. Watching television or movies is the same thing as spending time with an unbeliever. This unbeliever (tv) can have little or much negative influence, depending on what you are watching (bad words, maginc, horror, erotic, "perfect beauty", hatred, fornication, betrayals, rebellions, jealousy, envy, thirst of money, thirst of relationship, gossip and soooo on). So i think we must watch it with moderation, avoiding that kind of movies programs we know aren't good for our spiritual health.
