First point to consider: the Creator’s wisdom, in one way or another, at any time, in every place, is calling us to repentance and conversion:

- “Does not wisdom call? And does not understanding put forth her voice? She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths. She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors. (Pro 8:1-3).
His truth is always clearly evident. We are those who, many times, doesn’t desire His truth. Behold the place where we can find the wisdom:
- in the top of high places – where people used to worship the false gods (1Ki 3:3; 22:44; 2Ki 12:30). Of course, we never will seek what is highly esteemed among men because this is abomination to the Creator (Luke 16:15); neither we will exercise ourselves in great matters, or in things too high for us (Psalms 131:1), but only in what is in according as God has divided to everyone the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). Nevertheless, we can learn from the Creator and His wisdom, for instance, observing those who chosen these paths, that is to say, to learn with the mistakes of the others;
- by the way – where people walk in a hurry, usually flustered or hectic. Although Jesus speaks in these places, nigh everyone has His Word “eaten” by Ha-Satan (see Matt 13:4,19). Nonetheless, the order for us is to run not with them into the same confusion of riotousness (1Peter 4:4). We need to be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation (1Thess 5:8) so that the day of Jesus’ return come upon us unawares (Luke 21:34);
- in the places of the paths – that is to say, in the squares. They are where people meets to entertainment (Matthew 11:16) or civic events (2Chronicles 32:6). But it is a good place to proclaim the Creator’s word (Ezra 10:9; Nehemiah 8:1). On the contrary of the Pharisees that loved the greetings in the squares (Matthew 23:7), let’s remember that it is where two or three are gathered together in Jesus’ name the place where Jesus is present (Matthew 18:20) so that we take good profit of this opportunity.
