Nobody can pretend ignorance in order to excuse their sins (part 21):

  • “Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.” (Proverbs 8:30,31).

Behold some characteristics of His wisdom:

  • “I was by him” – the wisdom walks only in the light (1John 1:7);
  • “brought up with him” – the wisdom always is brought up when the Creator carry out His will and manifest His word;
  • “I was daily his delight” – the wisdom makes the Creator joyful on a daily basis (what represent, to us, strength – Nehemiah 8:10). Therefore, the wisdom has to do with redeemed lives (Luke 15:7,10);
  • “rejoicing always before him” – the Wisdom only delights when is in the presence of the Creator and doing His will (see John 3:29; 4:34);
  • “rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth” – the wisdom doesn’t enjoy itself in the loneliness, but where there is two or three people (Matthew 18:20);
  • “my delights were with the sons of men.” – the wisdom delights in the presence of the men, although many of them can’t perceive this in virtue of their sins (Prov 27:20; Isaiah 57:19-21).

Abridging: the wisdom is always near to Jesus, in all His deeds in favor of the sons of men’s salvation. If we pine for being elated, all our motivations, thoughts, plans, desires and actions should be guided to save people. Specially because, if we thought on this, we will never thought in sinning against those ones around us.
