North Korea is threatening to nuke us first accusing us of doing nuclear drills in South Korea. They said they would use a preimptive strike on the United States.

Lol...North Korea doesnt have the means. Kim Jong Un is a petulant child.

I suppose it's a good thing I live on the east coast, unless I've confused my geography. :)

In their dreams they can reach the west coast. In reality they might hit South Korea, Japan, or Hawaii. If the winds are good and their bottle rocket doesn't detonate on the launchpad.

There are enough threats in Dc which is on the east coast. I am more concerned with Ding Dong's plan for the country. He is doing just as much damage at the moment.

I wouldn't be so dismissive of countries with nukes threatening to use them.

There are just too many unknown unknowns.

"bottle rocket" lol!

Well aside from the number of koreans inhabiting south korea we have 28,000 troops there. So they could do us some real damage...but I think for the most part of korea even got close to launching we would bomb them.

I have a friend who is in his second year of teaching english in South Korea and apparently North Korea gives out these threats once a week at minimum. Even being that close the average South Koreans ignore it just like we should.

The Chinese will use that huge new military of theirs to step on them, and having tasted blood who know's who they'll go after next.

too bad your God isnt this country. For some reason I think North Korea couldnt care less about your religion. They are more just for wiping America off the map even with their inability to do so

lol the north koreans will fly their b-52 bombers carrying nukes.

You realise that the US is still at war with North Korea right?
The war didn't end, it's just a negotiated ceasefire (Which created the demilitarised zone).

So my point is, yeah the US would be their first target.

And of course Hawaii or West Coast would be the easier target.

It seems like fear mongering.

If you were going to attack a country would the element of "surprise" not be an advantage over the capabilities of the usa?

It seems to "elude" the leaders of countries these days...

Though barking "dogs" do bite sometimes.

Just saw that the experts said North Korea can't strike the U.S. I suppose whether or not one believes the expert will depend on which station the expert appears on, Fox News or MSNBC. Because of course, that's where most of the bright folks here in the U.S. get their expert advice on such matters. :)

psh I get my news from comedy central. Jon Stewart and stephen colbert are better than anyone on fox or msnbc

These current threats are in the news because they are NK's response to the strict new UN sanctions that were just passed as punishment for their recent nuclear missile test.
