Not a new member but having a problem

I am having problems, I can log in but when I click chat room and it loads, there is no mic nor are there any people not even my name. I had asked my friend to see if I may have been banned accidentally and she said she got in just fine on my name. I don't know if my server name was just accidentally blocked or if it is my computer or what. I miss chatting
