I want to glorify God whether I'm running errands, staying at home or by myself. I want my life to be all about God and focused on Him. When it is, I know what I can do and what I can't, and I don't have to be able to do it all. I'm secure in who I am in Christ and not threatened by others who can do things I can't do. And I don't have to know everything and have all the answers to be okay.

I'm also free to have limits and say no when I need to say no because it's not about pleasing people but being obedient to God. And serving God makes me a better servant of others. I can really love people when I'm not thinking about myself or wondering about what they're thinking about me.

You don't have to be like everybody else or do things like everybody else. God created you to be a unique individual and He wants you to be free to be who He made you to be. Keep your heart and mind on Him, and whatever you do, do it for Him.

A life of freedom is a life that's all about Him!

Thank you, Becky216, Too many times, I have not followed this advice. Why I am so weak, I do not know. I fail consistently. Maybe I am human and I haven't accepted that. Maybe I am waaaay too hard on myself. I am at an age where I thought I would have some comfort in experience and accomplishment. I have neither. All of the people I love most in life are gone now. They do not love me. I'm sure they have expectations of how I should represent myself as an adult. I guess I have not been able to live up to that.

What went so wrong? Why is the punishment worse than the sin? What I longed for all of my life, what I prayed for all of my life, what I dreamed of all of my life, none of these has come true, no matter how hard I've tried. I am worse off now than I was almost twenty years ago. I have struggled so hard. Nothing is achieved.

Where is your arm oh Lord? Where is your guidance? Where is your help? Where is you love? Life goes on no matter when it loses it's purpose.

What you are today, is what you have done to yourself before. You sow what you reap. Although God promised us abundant life, we must do our part to follow God's principles in life, have you done that? If you have not, it is not too late to start now. Talk to your church pastor what needs to be done from now on. GOD BLESS.
