When will you repent? And stop trusting yourself?

I trust what Jesus says. Jesus says 'if' and 'unless'.

Jesus said in John 6 the only way to be saved is to feed on him.

The only way to feed on Jesus is to do what he says.

Forgiving others has no bearing in ones salvation.

Being forgiven has to do with our salvation

...if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; Matthew 6:14

Matthew 18:35 "This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart."
Once again, If you want to be saved by obedience, the requirement is perfection. Have you met that requirement?
When one obeys Jesus, he saves them and makes them perfect; then we are to live up to that.

???

Are you talking to ME??
WHAT are you talking about?

I must say, whatever the above means,,,you sure do have a lot of hate in you for a Christian.
I truly am beginning to doubt the salvation of some on this thread.
Doubt to your hearts content...
You and anyone else within earshot.

We have to believe full stop.
That is what saves.
When we believe then we want to obey and seek to be like Jesus as a result of being saved.

If you say we have to obey in order to be saved then you have to set the bar.

If that's the case what is the bar?
Is it the same bar that God sets in order to achieve salvation?
Jesus will save us when he accepts us.
He tells us to never give up, give out, or give in.

In Hebrews 10:26, to "sin willfully" in the Greek carries the idea of deliberate intention that is habitual, which stems from rejecting Christ deliberately.
My understanding of that verse is that the willful sin is the rejection of the Gospel message.
My understanding is that it is to reject Jesus and his sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins.
It sounds to me like all three of us are on the same page. (y)

And we are accepted when?
Jesus chooses to live in those he accepts. That is when we are saved and that is when we are given the Holy Spirit.

John 14:23 Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.

have you sold all you owned and gave it to the poor?

are you mentally typing this, or are you using a device that you own?
Did Paul sell his paper and pen to right the Bible? It seems God wants you to sell all, so you can deal with the attitude of saying this is mine or that is mine, and so you don’t lay treasure on earth but rather in heaven (Luke 12:33). And selling house, car, material things keeps you from being stuck in one place and let’s you have the freedom to preach wherever God leads you. And it’s a command from Jesus in the flesh, that is ultimately why you should obey. God provides everything you need even after you sell everything. This includes a device to preach the gospel(Mark 16:15). Clothes to wear, (Matthew 6:25) and food and drink to have (Matthew 6:27). Rejecting what God has given you after forsaking all, is not relying on him to provide your needs. I don’t see why people try and point at someone preaching the word through different ways, is wrong to do. Matthew 6:21 says clearly where people put there faith in.

So back to works again?
Only accepted by our works and obedience?
Is that correct?

Go back to works?
It has always been about obeying God. It is just that we no longer have to do the works of the law that requires circumcision, special baths, a special diet, and observance of special days, and the sacrifice of animals.
Only accepted by our works and obedience?
Is that correct?
We have to obey Jesus. His works for us is light, easy, and not burdensome.

The early Church did not sell all that they had either. They sold as much as was required to fulfill any and all needs.
Acts 2:45
It the word all is not in this verse but possessions is, they sold there houses and anything they owned to the best of there abilities, left there jobs and preaching the word full time wherever God led them.

You have to believe in what Jesus commands, that means obeying everything he commands. That is believing him. You don’t just say his name and except eternal life.

They didn't have to do that; and, they SHARED IT and they did not give it away.

If you obey Jesus then he will reveal himself to you and you won't go off selling everything you have to become a traveling minister.

When Jesus came and started his three year earthly ministry, he had Twelve Apostles and many disciples who traveled with him to help lay the foundation. Do you believe that?
Those whom followed Jesus traveled with him and had to leave their jobs, their family their homes. That was during the time of the laying of the foundation. The foundation has been laid and no one has to do those things anymore. Jesus didn't ask us all to leave our families and homes and become traveling ministers.
That is not true brother. Nothing has changed all the commands apply to you also, you are no different. Luke 14:33, John 14:15, John15:12, John 12:48, John 8:31&51, Luke 16:13. Matthew 7:22, Matthew 5:19.
