We can do nothing of ourselves, that is true. We do have to be ready for His coming, watching and waiting, and Christ is our all-in-all.

Dog walk time.
Are you walking the dog or is he/she walk you:cool:

What dog so you have?

I have 2.

That's Margeaux.

The dog walks me! Your dogs are lovely, mine is scruffy. I should have called him scruff, he is a Springer Spaniel X miniature Poodle, very energetic, affectionate and excellent company. :) Thanks for asking.

In every case I am either pointing out their error or asking a question.
We are trying to help you see your error ... it is very important you think hard on what we are telling you.

How can someone who does not pay heed to the whole of the Bible, properly teach another.

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
(Gen 2:16-17 KJV)

Adam lived a long time in the body, but was banned from the presence of God.

When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed,
he shall die for it.
(Eze 33:13 KJV)

On and on it goes with the same message from Genesis to Revelation.

Not all the time.

At times you assume that they are not doing or should be doing.
Assuming their error, even when they disagree with you and say and try to say to you "That is not what I believe"

A simple example from your below post

Following Jesus is not works. You ought to do it.
How many you have responded to does not want to be like Jesus?

Can you find one person who does not?

Yeh mine walk me as well.
But at times I walk them.
That tends to be when I'm needy.

My wife and tend to walk them together.
But at times I just need to walk them on my own.
Mainly at the end of the day.

Just to talk to God.
Make sense of the day, me, my life, my family, my friends, my work.
Just life.
Just being honest.

It's quite funny. Walking along talking to God and then (I have said this) God give me a second, the dog has just pooped (well actually I use another word but won't say it incase it causes offence for some) and I need to pick it up.

You got any pictures of your scruffy dog that you can upload?
Glad he is great company for you. And you for him.

Person professes Christ. Serves Christ for years. Realizes he doesn’t love wife. Leaves wife. Begins to sleep around with numerous women. Lives in adultery 30 years. Dies in adultery.

Which are possibilities?

Never saved

Eternally secure

Which are possibilities, one or both?

Simple answer please. Not for debate.

Yes what?

I’m not asking for a judge. I’m asking for someone who can use application of scripture to answer a question.

We don’t judge. The answer to my question is in scripture.

And I did not ask for certainty. I asked for what possibility the Bible allows for. One or both?

Very simple question

The Pharisees said the same to those who did not belong to their cult.
Keep going EG. Hopefully these insults from you all, will get you banned.
All I ever hear is error.
It is you and others like you, who need telling it is wrong to reject those scriptures that do not conform to your cherry picked religion.
I do not need a sermon from the likes of you.
In every case I am either pointing out their error or asking a question.
You do not have the truth.
Been thee and done it, only to have you and your friends reject God's word. This is something no practising Christian will ever do.
You are hurting, therefore what I am saying is the truth.

(Going out)
It is the straight forward rejection of scripture. Start there and then comes the help, but we need a solid foundation on which to build.
You must have seen the warnings from scripture I have posted about backsliding, just to have them dismissed out of hand.

All I see is false accusations and silly/weak attempts to discredit Gods children...😅

And all I saw from oyster was dishonest as well....

If you really cared about truth you wouldn't focus on pointing your finger or making false claims for some make believe moral high ground.....

You understand youre speaking to people who have read the bible and believe it. If you disagree then sorting it out is done by using proper context and scripture.... not playing word games or asking silly questions....

Ok.

Let's look at what you said.

Following Jesus is not works. You ought to do it.
Now by inference you have come across as saying "You are not following Jesus"
The inference being they are not.
That negates the issue you were trying to address as to whether following Jesus is a work or not.

That you should have addressed.
Why is following Jesus a work is what you should have asked.

As for me, following Jesus is not a work, it's a calling and a privilege, but at times it is a work, hard work because we need to moved out of our comfort zone.

I hope you see what I'm trying to convey.

If this person was imputed with the righteousness of Jesus, ever, they would be seen as spotless.

But as a man who has experienced the work of God in me... I know that I personally could not live like that for a moment.

God would know if He started in this imaginary person, but if He did He would complete what He began.

So is your answer both are possibilities?

Btw, this person is not entirely imaginary
