I believe:

Jesus as God made flesh became the ONLY sacrifice for sin and the way to the Father. Jn.3:16,Ep.2:18.

The word of God is the only infallible word of truth and its precepts, exhortations, conditions, examples and commandments must be followed. John 17:17,Heb 4:12

That Jesus is Gods only Son and is a part of a triune Godhead existing of the Father,Son and Holy Spirit. John 15:26

Salvation is the gift of God,it cannot be earned ,bought nor obtained by any of our means. Gal .1:4, Ep.2:8

All the promises of God and the hope of eternal life are His truth. 1Jn 5:13, Matthew 25:46,& 1Cor.15:19

We are to come out of the world of sin and be sanctified for His use. Mt.13:22/38,Mark 4:19,Jn.17:14,Romans 12:2

Sanctification is both positional and progressive Heb.13:12,John 17:17,1Thess. 4:3

Discipleship and fruit bearing are signs of who is your Master! Mt.9:37, Mt.22:37-40, John 10 :37-38,Romans6:18,Ep.4:24

A disciple is not above his Master, neither a servant above his Lord. Mt.10:24

Ephesians 5:9 For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, and righteousness and truth.

A REAL believer cannot fall back into unbelief. A GENUINE believer cannot fall into unbelief. It is only those who were never saved to begin with, that can fall back into unbelief.
There are countless former genuine believers who would beg to differ.

And where did you get this countless count from?? It boggles the mind that ANY genuine believer would revert back to unbelief..
From a much better place than your incorrect hypothesis ~ life. Working in the medical field has afforded me the opportunity to meet COUNTLESS people who were genuine believers who genuinely lost faith. But I digress; you know better than they do with regards to their personal experiences.

Adding to "GOD that justifieth", not man's approval.......

The Lord says those who are His are justified, righteous in Christ, then proceeds to inform those who are His there is nothing
that can take me away from Him, or Him away from me.....

Like a son......once a son always a son...
You have to hold firmly to the gospel by which you were saved, or else you have believed in vain:

"2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain." - 1 Corinthians 15:1-2

So we see there's some scriptural context that you have conveniently left out.

I don't see what is so difficult to grasp about that.
right,

because you are not looking for reasons to make it difficult to grasp.

legalists look for reasons for it not to be true.

... We are not kept saved by the amount, quality, or constancy of our faith, but by the grace and faithfulness of the One in whom we initially trusted. "If we are faithless, He remains faithful; for He cannot deny Himself."

Therefore you will never understand the rest of the New Testament..... not by a long shot.

You fumble around in the dark pulling out verses that in no way support Jesus abandoning His children.

I will not try to prove anything to you anymore you are steeped in confirmation bias.

You just want a soapbox, but I will let people know you are not standing on Truth.
You owe it to everyone here to explain why we are trying to save ourselves by works if we obey these commands:

"stand firm in the faith - 1 Corinthians 16:13

"building yourselves up in your most holy faith" - Jude 1:20

"holding on to faith" - 1 Timothy 1:19

"hold firmly to the faith we profess" - Hebrews 4:14

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess" - Hebrews 10:23

"And now, dear children, continue in him" - 1 John 2:28

"As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you." - 1 John 2:24

Let people know how it is 'not standing on the Truth' to do these.

Phil 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

God Does the WORK...By His HAND HE moves men.....

Not sure what you dont understand, when you are His, that's it...

Again your frustration is that you do not see what you want to see and may not
live to see it, people change by His Spirit by His will in His time, that includes family members.

You want to do works?
Pray for these that they may come into the knowledge of Him and grow together in Christ.......

Phil 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:.
God certainly has begun a good work and will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ for those who hold firmly to the word (the gospel) that Paul preached to them, thus confirming their salvation status, but not for those who failed to hold firmly to the word (the gospel) thus confirming their unsaved status by believing in vain, which is to believe without cause or without effect, to no purpose. (1 Corinthians 15:1-2)

Ephesians 1:13 - In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, (not believed in vain, but truly believed) you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. :)

Funny ... "I owe"

That would be right you cannot save yourself by works.

There is one act of obedience required of a person for salvation.

To believe IN Christ Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

Agree, the are two ways to discuss this ..... from God's point of view... saved is saved... and there is no "former" or unbeliever.

Practical temporal point of view .. a person has doubts and their faith is severely challenged and perhaps emotionally and even intellectually they are not being faithful to "the faith" ... however there are never deemed "unbelievers" from God's point of view.

People like @Judges1318 keep harping on unbelief meaning "loss of salvation" which cannot happen, when really our focus should on restoring such a person as the scripture instructs.

If they were "never believers" then they need to be taught the Gospel which seems to be in very short supply these days sadly.

Phil 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
That's a great promise. That's why you should hold firmly to your faith in the gospel:

14 ...since we have a great high priest...let us hold firmly to the faith we profess." - Hebrews 4:14

Because if you don't hold firmly you won't be saved. Your believing will have been in vain:

"2By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain." - 1 Corinthians 15:2

God Does the WORK...By His HAND HE moves men.....

Not sure what you dont understand, when you are His, that's it...
What I don't understand is how osas can ignore the whole counsel of God about this matter.
If you are sure I'm the one doing that then explain why it's okay to ignore the scriptures I posted above.

Listen no one loses their salvation... let us be clear on that.
Amen to that.....nor can it be forfeit or given up.....it is rather clear....any and all conditions placed upon a man that requires US maintaining our salvation or faith to KEEP salvation = a works based salvation that devalues Christ and enthrones self!!

Yes, you owe us the truth.
If you condemn me for telling lies, then you are condemned for withholding the truth.

That would be right you cannot save yourself by works.
Everybody knows this.

There is one act of obedience required of a person for salvation.

To believe IN Christ Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
Everybody knows you do not get saved on the merit of righteous works.
But few know that you can lose the salvation you have been given by refusing to walk in the righteousness you have been given because of unbelief.
