Hello sir,
I am seeking respect and recognition.
But I have found only
raised eyebrows,
glance full of questions,
and objections to an unjustified claim.

deafening buzz of airport
burdensome pressure of loneliness
drowning in cluster of white seats
lighthouse
old woman
surprising burst of familiarity
lonely harbor full of boats & ships
waves of peace
gray hair's peaceful presence
nylon socks and a bit scuffed loafers
calm waters within blue eyes
smiling without a smile
softness of billion times washed hands
tired assurance of death
gentleness of deep oceans wrinkles
great solace of stillness presence
without possibility to approach
buzz stops
everything is back in place
she pulled me up
straightened me
without even looking at me
what a miracle!
I love old people …
